He's not LITERALLY in the same league as Nketiah. Yet. But Iliman is more talented in various ways.

I've always rated Nketiah, BUT, he's not going to have the career Ndiaye will. They're different types of player.... But i know who I'd rather have at Blades.

I've always rated Trossard as well - yes he's done well in the Prem, but Iliman is likely to also. We don't know yet, of course.

I don't object to your views however, good sir.
They are very different players, I'll give you that, but it was a comparison you made. It's obviously all conjecture at the moment, so I also respect your opinions and understand we have different perspectives. This is what forums are for and all that.

You said there was no evidence to suggest Illi isn't currently on their level, so I just thought I'd give you some!

We're all entitled to our opinions on where players' careers might end up, or how good someone might turn out to be, but in terms of experience and levels played at, alongside GA returns...he's currently miles behind them.

I'd love to see them both at the lane if I'm honest! Iliman sitting behind McBurnie and Nketiah would be outrageous!

I can only assume the first sentence is a wind up. That or check into an institution!

If you want to compare him with someone, try Eze or Bowen. Both went for somewhere around £20 million.
Not really RE first sentence. Perhaps I haven't expressed it perfectly, but bear in mind Trossard is 28. He's worked up to his peak. I think there's a very good chance Iliman has (deservedly) equalled Trossard's big team move before he's 28.

Also no reason not to think that he'll do really well if he moves to Brighton/ Brentford/ Wolves or wherever next season (please don't leave Iliman).

That was only evidence that they played in different leagues though mate. It's not evidence he's not as good as them.

Semantics anyway.

All three are good players in my opinion and I don't really care about comparing them - I just got carried away with passing the time before a Maltese criminal buys United.

All things being equal, selling him for c£20m would make zero sense as it would cost more to replace him, were we to go up.

Obviously there are a few moving parts, takeover, length of his contract, his/agents potential desire to earn more now.

Yes its is strange yet while he was here many of our fans thought he was only average some did not even rate him yet gunners fans think he is great.
The season we went down he was a liability. Literally struggled to catch the ball. Amazed how he's turned it round, must be a confidence thing. Although he did drop the ball for Man Us second goal at the weekend.

Well i think it is down to the individual . I always thought he was a decent keeper who would have been even better if fans got of his back . I also believed it affected his game here big style having to put up with the slagging he was getting he became a nervous wreck. Since he as been at the Gunners in a less hostile enviroment he is showing what a good keeper he is . They all love him there good luck to him . The Gunners would not have payed all that money mate for a average keeper ,they to saw what a few of us saw in him but he was a guy that needed to feel love to to perform at his best.

used to watch u18s/21s at shirecliffe and knew aaron would make it to the top level he was brilliant organised the defence brilliantly and always very vocal saw him make loads of fantastic saves yes he was a bit iffy with us first half of his first full season but think it was a confidence thing but as other posters have pointed out with nidaye another club offering 9/10 times more salary wise is hard to turn down

Forest may throw lots of money the way of Utd and Ndiaye to get a deal done but I'm not convinced he'd get many games there apart from when they rotate. I'm also not sure he'd fit as well into a front 3 as his current role as a second striker - I don't think he's naturally a central striker (#9) and he wasn't as effective playing of the right in the World Cup, albeit against top level opponents (and England!).

However, I can't see him or particularly his agents worrying to much about that if they convince Utd to sell and offer him £80k/week.
He was hugely effective on the right of the 3 for Senegal v Qatar and Ecuador. Then the manager changed it to 2 up top and very defensive v England which completely nullified their own threat.

Spurs have nicked Danjuma from Everton at the last minute, Newcastle also in negotiations with them for Gordon, so it’s seems they missed out on a player and also selling a star player. If it happens they will have money to spend it seems.

Every day that goes by and nothing happens is good news. I can't seen him going to Everton with the state they're in and don't even have a manager!

Like, are our fans desperate from our star players to be sold.....

Mind boggling

It's subjective but IMHO, 'hugely successful' would be somewhat pushing it. I thought he did ok - well (~7/10) with one notable contribution of an assist. He was as you say ineffective v England.

Yep, confidence a big factor clearly.

He was terrible for us in that season though. Some say half a season then he turned it around. I just think he was less terrible the second half but still not good. Fair play to him, seems to be doing well at Arsenal, which should benefit us with performance related transfer fees.

Ineffective because of the managers tactics.

I was at the Senegal v Ecuador game and he was unplayable, likewise Sarr on the left.

I was also at England v Senegal and saw the changes in formation and mindset from the previous game. Had their manager gone with what was successful for them in the group stages, it would have been a lot more uncomfortable for England. Saying that, he still had moments early on, and showed his talent.

I bet they were good games to go to and like I said, I thought Ndiaye did ok-well v Equador but I'm not sure about being "unplayable" - I must have watched a different game to you!

If I was Ndiaye and on a (reported) £4000 per week at United and Everton came calling with £40k - £50k per week offer, I would be off like a shot. Championship bound / second rate scousers or not. I would even whistle the Z cars theme in my sleep.

Hopefully the speculation will come to nothing and he will see out the season with us.
He’s on a lot more than £4k pw. He wanted to rent a house a guy I know owns a while back and £4k less tax wouldn’t have got close.
AA lives in it now.

You've missed out the other bit of the equation. United have made it clear time and time again.

They are willing to sell ANY PLAYER (like almost every club) but the buying club must meet our valuation
AND we have a suitable replacement lined line which ensures our team is the same level or strengthened.

It's obvious SUFC won't do anything to damage their chances of receiving 100's of millions.
So if we sold N'Diaye we would have someone similar lined up to come in, to ensure we still have a great chance of promotion.
Basically, common sense says the chance of N'Diaye being sold in the next few days are
Circa £12,000 month wouldn’t come close ?
Take home less than half that so unless he wants very little spendo nowhere near enough!

You can work out which house it is from the 'Day in the life' vid they put out of Anel, the view out onto his back garden gives it away.

Yes it was an incredibly slow day at work that day!
Yeah absolutely. He was renting Ramsdales house on Vernon Road I believe, recently on Rightmove, but it seems he's moved to the top of Dore Road, the view out the back being towards the back of Rushley I think.
