Has the landlady at the Bulls Head learned how to run a pub without deliberately trying her best to annoy everybody yet, she'll probably say the game is on then switch the telly off to be an awkward cunt
Only go in for the United games these days, TPL. Sadly, not the pub it once was. Used to be the regular haunt of a certain P. Woolhouse when he lived up this way. Haven't seen him in there for a while though.:)

I'm not even sure if the same landlady/manager is still there, I can't see her lasting long anywhere to be honest. I just know she went there after managing our local.
I left the pub on Christmas Eve and forgot to say Merry Christmas because I was talking to my family and friends on the way out, I didn't go back in the pub until January 20th and found out I was barred for offending her bar staff
It didn't matter that I'd bought her entire bar staff a drink every time I went to the bar, THEY were offended.

I asked her to line her bar staff up in front of me and explain to me how I'd offended them. I knew I'd done nothing wrong, but she lined them up anyway and one by one they all told me I was rude to them and then upon leaving I didn't even wish them a Merry Christmas, the fact that she was stood over them whilst they said this had absolutely no bearing on their explanations.
I didn't say anything, just turned around and walked out but I don't remember any of them wishing me a Merry Christmas when I arrived so I couldn't understand why it was such a problem. The manageress just had it in for our group for several months and couldn't find a reason to bar us so just invented one

Hence a trip up to the Bulls Head is out for me :D

I'll try to remember to wish them "Merry Christmas " tonight then TPL but I can't guarantee it if United lose!

I'm going in the Springvale and if United score I'm going barmy, if anyone don't like it they can foxtrot Oscar, if they want to make more of it they can foxtrot Oscar, and if they really push it I'll kick their bolox in

Just because you haven't seen him, doesn't mean he wasn't there. Surely you've seen Face / Off ;)

Well I was watching from the upper tier, I'm now laid on a ward in the Northern General and no particular sounds suggesting I'm going anywhere.

Hoping someone can get back with my tech to enable me to watch it from here :(

Never mind the game, concentrate on getting yourself right for the wife and the bairn.

We'll have a beer or two for you this evening.

UTB

At work tonight so taking my iPad using sky on the go. Nothing being done for hour half ;) UTB

Does that mean there's a ticket going spare? :-)

Seriously, get well soon. Blades win should do you the world of good.

Hope you're OK main thing is to get yourself right.

Wondering if they still offer a choice of blanket colours? When I was a kid I was rushed in with acute appendicitis and the first think the ambulance guy said to me when they arrived at the house was "united or wensdy?" and so I got the red blanket

At home here in Poole as I couldn't get a ticket for this one unfortunately, but I will be kicking every ball & shouting the lads on for all I am worth, COYRWW.

Definitely staying in here.

So providing Linz can get back here to the Northern with my charger/iPad and the WiFi is up to it, I'll be watching from here.

My ticket has gone btw :)

My experience having recently watched the Villa game attached to Sheffield Hospitals WiFi is that you're better off on 4G.

Hope your feeling better soon.

Slight problem with that, zero signal.

I'll be at Partick Thistle v Hearts.

It's a 7.05 ko so hopefully see some of the second half in the pub after I find out who Thistle have drawn in the semis. :D
