If you were given a clean slate, who would you keep?

Indulge me as I know this isn't possible, but if someone said to you that you could release the entire squad tomorrow, who out of our current crop would you keep?

Personally I think I'd keep 4:

Che Adams-As others have said, clearly not the finished article, but bags of potential and certainly has an eye for the back of the net

Done-Excellent for this division when played in the right position

Sharp- Will score plenty of goals at this level and will run himself into the ground for the team

Baxter-A frustrating but technically gifted player, excellent eye for a pass

Brayford- Depends whether it's the Brayford of his loan period or the sub standard one we've had on a permanent basis, the man takes up a lot of wages and needs to justify it


How about anyone else?

Reed is young, improving and earning peanuts. The jury is at least out.

Basham does a decentish job in midfield, nothing spectacular. He also does a good job at centre half. So I'd give him a 3rd division wage.

Basham's versatile, physically decent, technically adept and has a good attitude. Definitely one you want to keep. With the right partner at centre half he'd be very good there.
