Which of our players would you say match this description?

At the moment I’m at Tom Cannon and Ben Godfrey, if this list gets added to we could be in for a catastrophic season

Sincerely hoping I won’t be adding the likes of Louie Barry, Chong and Tyrese Campbell to this list

Tyrese was my favourite player last season, I said he’d score our first ever play off final goal and he did it in beautiful fashion. But he’s got to give much more than he is doing right now.

I’m not ready to completely give up on Louie Barry either, but to say he’s been disappointing is an understatement.

The comments from Luton fans about Chongs attitude will continue to be a worry until he proves them wrong sadly

At this point you'd have to say most of them. It'll be very telling over the next few weeks what things are going to look like and what Wilder's best (least worst) team looks like.

Panic buying lads from Luton who have become accustomed to losing isn't going to have helped matters.

From our last releagation Luke Thomas, Auston Trusty, and Vini Souza were particular pea hearted players that really wound me up. Souza had a chance to redeem himself
Christ Luke Thomas an absolute fraud of a player. I have no idea how he is still playing at pro level. Saw him play for Leicester this season and he is still as crap as he was for us. A full back who gets vertigo of he ventures past the halfway line, can only pass backwards, has no pace, cannot tackle and is weak as pish.

They gave him a new contract last week till 2029

Chong is on course for back to back to back relegations at this rate! As others have stated, our recruitment was a total disgrace over the summer. It seemed as if we were going to be using this AI model, but by deadline day, we were panicking and bringing anyone we could find through the door.

The problem Wilder has is that he isn't able to change the personnel until January now. I do think 3 at the back should be utilised with Seriki and Burrows out wide, as I can't watch Godfrey attempt to play at RB. The loss of Moore, Souza and Ahmedhodzic (height wise) certainly wasn't addressed. We've essentially got a team full of midgets with no aerial ability both at the back and in attack. Matos, Peck, O'Hare, Hamer can all play in the middle of the park, but none of them have any physicality or height and you really do need someone in the middle of the park that can be a bit of a bully. We're far too lightweight and I really do worry where our next win is going to come from if we don't pick up three points on Saturday.

I think a lot of them believed the smoke that was being blown up their arses last season and are pretty mardy about not getting a big move in the summer. Cooper, Burrows, Hamer, Campbell all seem to be in a right mards and I’m not having that it’s down to Selles.

someone needs to tell them if they want their moves it’s going to be a lot easier if they’re not playing like dogshit.

I'd agree that Moore hasn't been replaced height wise upfront. But then we never utilised Moore's height, and when we tried too we looked worse... until we started playing 4-4-2 in the Play offs.

Anel is 1.91m
We have brought in McGuinness at 1.93m and Bindon at 1.91m. In addition to those, we have also brought in Zatterstrom, Tanganga and Godfrey, all 1.83m - every CB we have signed is taller than Jack Robinson and McGuinness is taller than Anel

Souza is 1.88m and his replacement was expected to be Soumare at 1.85m - that's 1.18" difference.

I've honestly not seen Barry do anything useful. Well, to be fair, that could apply to a lot of the team.

Agree about not utilising Moore's height. Burrows, Hamer were certainly capable of delivering a good ball into the box, but for whatever reason we never crossed the ball into him. Bindon is 1.91m?! You wouldn't know it! Can't see Soumare getting much game time under Wilder to be honest. Need Tom Davies back from injury as soon as possible.

Barry should be packed up in a car on NYE, he’s not a championship player. Could say same for Bindon but I don’t think he’s been that much worse than McGuinness.

Have said it before on another thread but I went to watch Ipswich away at Leicester last season with my Town supporting mate and booed Thomas throughout just for some catharsis. Can't stand that numpty

I remember McGuinness getting stuck in at times, which is a positive even if he isn't the best player.

He looked quite handy against Bristol cutting in onto his right peg. Well he did until everybody including the opposition quickly realised that's all he can do.
