Derby say they will not be pursuing their interest in Ferrie Bodde or Rob Hulse.

The Rams have made bids for Swansea midfielder Bodde and Sheffield United striker Hulse.

But they have been unable to agree fees for either and now chairman Adam Pearson says the club will not be pursuing either player.

Pearson claims The Rams will now be looking at other targets.

"After failing to reach an agreement with Sheffield United and Swansea City over their respective players, we have decided to pursue other targets," said Pearson.

Rob Hulse is at the centre of a bitter bust-up between Sheffield United and Derby.

United dispute the Rams' claim that they have tabled a £1.25 million offer and they believe Derby have leaked their interest in an attempt to unsettle the striker.

A Bramall Lane source said: "Nobody - from Derby or anywhere else - has been in touch with us about Rob."
