Terrible half, worst I’ve seen under Wilder.

No link from back to front, causing longer passes into areas and lost possession and hesitation. Forwards been given nothing to work with.
Midfield been woeful, I’m sorry but Leonard has looked like a pub player miles out of his depth. He looks slow, tired and unsure of what he’s doing. His decisions to shoot when Baldock was motoring clear was schoolboy standard. He has to be pulled.
Evans been sloppy, not showing for it or retaining it.
Fleck is too wide, get him central for Christ’s sake.

Duffy has to come in at half time. Not a lot of other options on the bench tonight

Leonard has looked out of his depth almost every time he's played. It's early days and he's not had much time but he looks scared of the ball, his touch is lousy and takes to long on the ball.

We attacked relentlessly in that first half at Norwich, with this system. The absence of Duffy does not prevent us from doing that at Hull this evening. We might miss him, but Wilder will have weighed up the pros and cons and decided this XI gives us the best chance of a result.

What I meant, but obviously didn’t get across very well, was that we need to attack and keep the pressure on from the very start i.e. keep the ball in their half. Duffy allows us to do that and it’s exactly what we’ve missed in that first half.
