Midfield arent controlling the game as they usually do, can't keep hold of the ball and no connection with the strikers, misplaced passes, no rhythm at the minute, and the defence is shaky.

It’s like the balls a hot potato at the minute. Wilder needs to tell them to calm down at half time. Too much long ball, midfield ineffective, for fucks sake get Duffy on.

Shocking performance so far - Leonard has been awful, so far off the pace. Stevens has been shocking. Just hoofing it up the field.

Get Duffy on for Leonard at half time, Lafferty on for Stevens.

One of the worst first halves I've seen from Utd this season, only can get better in the second, don't look any where near a top 6 side, why can't they keep the ball down and hit the bloody target when they shoot like other teams seem to have done to us recently.

Our midfield was our strong point. With Coutts out injured I don' understand why Fleck and Duffy aren't playing their normal roles with Evans standing in for Coutts. It might be that Duffy can't take all the games but we've gone from having a cultured passing midfield to an agricultural one.

Our ball retention is fucking pathetic. The 2 new lads in the middle couldn’t pass water and the centre halves seem to prefer hoof ball. What has Duffy don’t wrong to be replaced by such mediocrity.

Terrible half, worst I’ve seen under Wilder.

No link from back to front, causing longer passes into areas and lost possession and hesitation. Forwards been given nothing to work with.
Midfield been woeful, I’m sorry but Leonard has looked like a pub player miles out of his depth. He looks slow, tired and unsure of what he’s doing. His decisions to shoot when Baldock was motoring clear was schoolboy standard. He has to be pulled.
Evans been sloppy, not showing for it or retaining it.
Fleck is too wide, get him central for Christ’s sake.

Duffy has to come in at half time. Not a lot of other options on the bench tonight

I'd include Fleck in the crapness to be honest, although Evans and Leonard have looked woeful.

O'Connell needs heading practice. The amount of time our defenders send free headers straight to the opposition!

What's with the lack of movement at throw-in? One person will make a run and another two will stand still.

This is a terrible performance so far, very disappointing, I think Chris needs to let rip in the break, a lot to be said for keeping calm but we look like we are in need of a rocket.

I am a massive John Fleck fan, but a blinder at Hillsborough apart, his set pieces have been consistently ordinary....I would have Evans on them more often than not. The midfield three is certainly not clicking, getting enclosed, definitely Duffy time.
