Might be a bit unfair but owt hit goalwards from outside the box seems to be a goal.
The free kicks our back four have given away on the edge of the box in the past few games have been well saved and the last goal was a ridiculous deflection that no one would have saved. Long was so weak against Gillingham it was difficult to watch and it will happen again. He may be a decent shot stopper but there is so much more to being a keeper and he is miles away.

Howard's ability-
League two- A 12 point a season first name off the team sheet keeper.
League one- good enough
Championship- below par
Premiership- what's the point? 5th choice at best

It's a weird coincidence how every goalkeeper in the world ever is a 'good shot stopper'.

My dad used to say that Kevin Keelan (long time Norwich keeper) never seemed to use his hands to make saves as every shot would always seem to hit his chest, legs or head. Here is what I put in my "Woody's goals and assists"

OUCH! BET THAT HURT! - v Norwich (a) 29.8.70. A Salmons free kick to the far side of the box was played back by Badger and Woodward met it with a ferocious rising drive. Keelan knew nothing about it as the ball smashed against his chest and he was so shaken he had to have treatment.
The above match was ironically the first ever match that a Norwich supporter, who became my schoolmate and has remained a close friend since, went to. Some years ago on my visit to his house, his dad told me about the moment that Norwich's keeper Kevin Keelan was stunned after saving Woody's shot with his chest. It had amused many in the Carrow Road crowd.

I always used to think Kevin keelan
