He had it re-operated on around February time according to his Instagram at the time.

You’re looking at 10-12 months from a full Achilles re build to return to high impact sport.

That means he is very unlikely to play much football all at all this season as he’ll have done no training what so ever by Christmas time at the very earliest.

Also there’s about a 1/3rd chance that he won’t be the same athlete as he was before as almost a third of people cannot attain the same level of fitness.

We need to forget him and move on, unfortunately.
