How To Listen To Radio Sheffield Without a Radio

One of the reasons i ditched my radio and tv licence. As I understood it I'd paid for radio so should've been able to pick it up even through my computer, so imagine my anger when after selling it to me they denied me access.

Again, slightly off topic, but can't get the Freeview channel in Staffordshire. We're moving to the Derbyshire/Leicestershire border on Saturday and hoping we're close enough to pick up RS from there (Ches goals are on the local ITV news there, so that should be reason enough in my eyes!)

I'm working tonight so no chance of listening, but, if you want live updates then download an app called Futbol24 and set the game as a favourite, you'll get alerts when something happens, and it's free....

Also, you can set up your teams that you've bet on, in case you wanna cash out

Just stump up the £4.49 for a month's subscription to Blades Player and cancel before the month's out...

Cannot make the game tonight but would like to listen to the commentary. I dont actually own a traditional radio. I have tried listening before on my computer but due to licensing issues it cannot be done. Is this still the case? Could I listen on my phone? Any advice/solutions would be appreciated.

Warning: you may hear a barking dog and some swearing from time to time. :)

Radio Bristol Freeview Channel 719 are broadcasting three games live and we are one of those games

Found an app called "my radio free" it's on android not sure about ios

Never mind ignore me. It doesn't work :(

Only use in desperation. It's the audio from his webcam which is pointed at his radio. Terrible sound quality and sometimes his dog won't shut up in the background.

What's going to happen when the country does away with analogue frequencies?

The sound quality is fine, and Ben is a registered Blades fan who normally only barks when we score - Paddys does a great job for us exiled Blades.

Thanks for the advice. Just to clarify I am Sheffield based and I do have Sky. I had a flick through the radio channels on Sky but couldn't find any regional radio channels.

I may just sign up to bladesplayer then I didnt know they had they live commentary.

Thanks.

Why don't you just buy yourself a pocket DAB/FM radio?

Doesnt work. Its not a VPN issue, just a radio sheffield blocking the games from been broadcast online as bladesplayer have the digital rights.
Hi mate can you PM me as I'm not sure my recent messages got through to you?

Cheers TB
