Just as a matter of point, does anyone feel particularly offended by the offer of free child season tickets?

I've seen "elsewhere" that some childless fans are complaining that the club "doesn't do anything for them" and is just chasing the families.

I'm childless and also missed out by a good few years by having a freebie ticket myself when I was younger. However, getting the kids in makes sense to me. As long as I'm not surrounded by kiddies, I have no problem with them coming to games or getting free tickets. Kids who are football fans want shirts, they want food when they're at the game and if they're interested, you could be forging a Blade for life.

I don't feel the club need to do any more to cater for me. A very reasonable season ticket price is all I want and I'm pretty satisfied with what we have.
