Saw him many times over the years at the Lane in his job as a copper. Good to hear he still goes to the Lane as a fan in his retirement.

Nothing is too early for Alan Cork. I’m pretty sure he played in the original Sheffield FC vs Hallam match in 1860. And he was 34 years old even back then.
