Through injury, operation brought forward.

Porter/Beattie/Cresswell is all we have left. doomed?

Not good news. Two strikers lost in one weekend. If Cresswell is still injured we are looking almost a threadbare in the striker department as we did whe in 2008-9 season.

Go 4-5-1 and bring willo inside with Flynn and Quinn wide. Can't see the point of two forwards when there isn't a potent partnership between them.

He was shocking on saturday ,Ohallarhan was much better ,with Beattie Cressy and Porter we have enough.

Cressy has a shoulder ligament issue which I think he's hoping to play on through or get through with injections.

hopefully Cresswell is fit. I think his importance to us has now increased quite substantially. Not that I'm saying he wasn't important before - just that he's now pretty much a key player.

im still not that worried. we were going to struggle against stevenage anyway but its a team we shud be beating.

Mcabe could play up top and we'd still beat exeter.

the stage is set MR BT!

Which he got going for that bloody ridiculous header!!

In the Reserves, Jordan Chappel, Joe Ironside, Elliott Whitehouse and Danny Philliskirk seem to have been scoring for fun. Apart from Philliskirk, who's had a chance in the first team, it's a pity we haven't been able to give the other three a run out. I would much rather have seen one of them than Beattie..

Not sure Ironside is going to be much use to us

Getting young Metric back for the bench as an attacking option is not a bad shout Swiss.
He scored last weekend. Looked lively enough when he played earlier in the season.
Expect we will start with Porter and O'Halloran on Satdi with Cress and BT on bench.

It's a cunning plan :)

And monty back for the last game

Not too disapointed. He hasnt done it for me. Like the earlier poster said, potential 4-5-1 or if not BT, Porter and Cresswell should deliver the goods. It sounded like we really missed Creswell's work ethic Saturday. I would therfore not want to see Porter-BT as neither work hard enough.

BT (if he's fit) could play the lone striker well. But he needs to be fit

DW did say Cressy had declared himself fit for MK but he rested him so another week so have him ready. An injection into the shoulder should keep him pain free for 90 minutes.

If Cresswell in our only decent striker, then we should play 4-3-3 Monty's (is now back) or ertl could play with Doyle and MacDonald and up fornt LW Quinn RW Williamson ST Cresswell

It is getting worse by the minute.
Our striking dept, despite being the highest scorers in the country is looking thread bare.
What have we left.
Cressy carrying injuries.
O'Halloran basically a winger
Porter, puts in a shift but can he score.
BT a shadow of the BT we knew.
Whats left,look at the reserves.
Surely it will not be another play off without strikers.
As a club we do seem to draw the short straw.
In Danny we trust.
UTB

why can't he play if they don't want to play him

Well they did, but he got injured so the loan wasn't cancelled (I think) he came back to us for treatment. I think it's league rules that he can't play for us.

But he's available for last game if fit as his loan would've ended after this coming weekend anyway.

If Doyle gets a knock (like he did on sat) then Monty may be our only option to break up play....
