Hope for return of crowds

Be interesting to see if in August we can get back to full stadiums or whether large numbers will be incrementally built up...the guidance suggests if things go ok then we could have full crowds and maybe even away fans. The latter excites me maybe more than going to the Lane. Love an away day out on a sunny day in August!

Silent, without wanting to get involved in the back and forth of the other threads which has gone a bit OTT for me (both ways) why have you become somewhat antagonistic in responses?

I said last summer I thought it might be around 2 years before full crowds. It still might. There is a long way to go yet.

My opinion which was only that and people of course could disagree was before the vaccine which has come quicker and been rolled out quicker than probably any of us expected so natural things 'could' get back to normal quicker.

I got stuff wrong. So did you (did you say there would be season ticket news last July- still no news- understandably so). There has been so much guesswork with this virus.

I just do not see why the point is of going over old posts in an almost 'Haha, you were wrong!' kind of way. I could rake up quite a few posts you and others put last summer where you disagreed with me for my opinions on crowds not being back this season and saying things would take a while to get back to normal (which sadly has happened). I probably got a fair bit more right than wrong when many was convinced we'd be back in August (last year). I can't be bothered really though as I take no satisfaction that life has been so shitty including no football.

It's not a game of who is right or wrong all the time. People put opinions. Some get it right. Some get it wrong. A load get facts on old teams/matches wrong and I am sure you will continue to correct them. Heck I had us putting Oli Burke on this weekend! That is fine and in a weird way I like you offer this service but sometimes it's also ok to be wrong!
