Home Ticket Prices When Parson Cross Rovers come to town

Bolton last year would've been a good statement, especially being the first game. That one went tits-up as well.
I'm going to Bolton week after next in what is essentially my reverse boycott of a boycott (possibly).

I've looked at this possibility. We're not allowed to charge more than our highest priced home ticket.

Personally I'd fuck them with the allocation instead. 500 in Westfield corner.
Fuck that, it's the best place to sit, just give them the pink seats in the pukka balcony!

Stop going all soft and generous TD.
Personally I'd give them fuck all

Then you either man up or Kemp down . Ask yourselves if working overtime because Fletcher wants a new Lamborghini is how you want to live your life.

Every year, three teams go up. To my knowledge they've all managed this without turning their fans upside down and shaking their hard-earned out of their pockets every week.
Well, I know some people have packed in the lucrative night shift rather than work for bully boy Kenny Carter ...
It's Northern Foods now, but I see your point.

I completely understand where you're coming from but I think the atmosphere that day will be electric.
Derby games usually come down to grit and determination.
Even if that's just partly true I think it could be the best derby game of our life time -
If they want a battle, they are bringing a water pistol to a gun fight and I'd love nothing more that 4,000 pigs to witness it.

Personally, and it might just be me, I'd prefer us to set the pricing to something more reasonable. I'd like us to show them how a decent club treats fans.

We need to remember that it's not the fans who have set the prices for our game there but they're the ones we would be punishing by charging extortionate amounts. It'd be a bit rich for us to complain about high prices if we went and did the same
But it is the fans who have accepted and normalised these prices by paying them every other week, meaning the rest of the division have to pay them if they want to visit.

Granted, but we'd be participating in the 'normalisation' of those ticket prices if we did the same.

If every club thinks "fuck it, they charged us loads, we'll do the same" then it's only going to result in more and more fans being ripped off

Have a heart; Chansiri Chancers FC are looking to screw us for one game - their fans are getting screwed for 23 games. I suppose we could look upon it as a one-off "fine" that we have to take on the chin. They have to endure it throughout the Chancers' tenure (forever hopefully); they could look upon it as a sort of "Many a Fine Charged on an Old Tuna Fiddle".

In light of the obscenity today, I propose and will be suggesting to the club the following:

That we charge £60 for the equivalent seating for away fans - wherever it is at the Lane.

That you get 2 free home games for the £60, so effectively £20 per game.

Therefore, we can charge Parson Cross Rovers £60 admission on the day.

It might not be do-able, but if it is, we should seriously consider it, and screw these cunts for every penny we can, just like they have done to us.
We did something like this in our last premiership season where we had to buy 2 or 3 games as a bundle to dissuade away fans from infiltrating our areas for key games, I bought some, don't see why we can't do the same again but maybe the other bundled games can't be "free" but a notional price.

Would it not make a bigger statement about us if we made it a category b game and charged the lowest prices? Stick by your morals, don't drop to their level and take a Chris Wilder esque approach

Not sure why everyone wants to stick people in the Westfield corner like it's some kind of punishment, there's loads of season ticket holders up there this season and it's a much better place to watch football than the crappy lower tier.

If we want to be silly, charge them 90 quid and allocate them about 60 in the bit of the Pukka Pies corner where the John Street stand blocks the view of the pitch, or more realistically, get as many Blades in the ground as possible, and if that means the lower tier needs it's capacity reducing for "safety reasons" then oh dear, what a pity, never mind.

In reality the pigs should be a category Z game and The Blades should pay us £60 to watch the fuckers.

If i was a blade mate then not a chance i would be paying £42 for a league game what is also on tv,them prices are for cup semi-finals etc not the bread and butter league games.

They'll get a few hundred more tickets than we get at the deathtrap and at lower prices, but the cost of buying clean undrwear as they come through the tunnel and the dry cleaning bill to sort piss stained clothing makes it a wasted effort.
Plus them getting fucked over on the pitch.
