Big games, clean sheet at Hillsborough when the twats resorted to dirty tricks (called leave it to the defender), the run around new year when we played loads of top 6 teams and came out in a great place.

Look at his distribution, did he actually find a blades player the whole match? Most of his kicks went to Liverpool, aimlessly upfield or out of play.

His command of the box is poor. Its very rare he comes out to claim the ball or punch it clear.

Yes, he can do some great saves. But thats one part of a goalies game.

If we stay up, we have to get better than him.

The save from he mades from Salah was good but did not make up for the cock up from a routine save as the damage was already done.

The only thing is, I wouldn't trust Moore in the Prem and Verrips is a complete unknown quantity. Out of the two, I think I'd prefer Verrips... Moore we know isn't Prem level, Verrips could be.

Goalkeepers peak at 30/31 so he is young. Lloris dropped a bollock today. It happens. He needs to knuckle down. He has the potential to be an England keeper. Just needs to prove it.

I recall Mel Rees being a complete unknown ( was he 3rd or 4th choice at West Brom?) but he will always be remembered by Blades fans as a great keeper in the few games he played for the club

the“K barrier” you’re referring to isn’t a thing that is universally taught to kids when developing into goalkeepers. There are plenty of goalkeeping coaches out there who teach that sort of “scoop up” type of catch.

like I said. He made up for it with the Salah save that could have killed the game off. He’ll win us more points than he’ll cost us. He made some great saves against Palace that helped us win.

Deano will save us a few time this season but yesterday was a very basic schoolboy error. Through his hands first then nut-megged.
Wilder knows we were a gnat's dick away from a point from the European Champions. But there's not much point in Deano saving everything if we continue to be inept in front of goal. That's where our problems lie when we have to bring Leon on as substitute.

I have been to all 4 home matches, with a 400 mile round trip each time - we have to do better. We "deserved" points against Soton and Liverpool and arguably on a good day against Leicester.

Shots at goal for those 3 games have to be 30 - goals scored 1. Not good enough. Deano is not the problem.

If he’s ‘slap bang average’ he wouldn’t be playing in the premier league. Were you slating JOC or Egan at the time for there part in it? There’s no hard on, just being objective as opposed to your blinkered view when you see the negatives far more than the positives. Yesterday was a monumental bollock drop but it doesn’t warrant the clamour for wanting him dropped. Loris did the same for Spurs yesterday. Learn to read? You said you’d prefer Verrips. Plenty of average players play in the premier league. Been in the top flight is no proof that you're actually good.
