We've been promoted to the PL three times. Each time we've stuck with the manager that got us promoted, as almost every club does. Each time we've failed to establish ourselves in the PL. The best we managed was three seasons under Bassett. But then again, we probably had the lowest wage bill in the PL in every season we've spent in it.

I'm sure PH will not be replaced if we get promoted, but I'm pretty sure he will be gone if we're adrift at the bottom in November.

Personally I wouldn't replace him in the summer, even if we fail to go up. I think he's well-liked and is doing a good job in less than ideal circumstances

You'd think that instead of a pitifully small minority we had a bunch of dullards who'll never be happy until we're stoney broke, and only then will they claim to have 'told you so' all along.

I'm under no illusions about the difficulties surrounding our push for promotion, let alone just how difficult a continued presence in the Prem will be if we manage to get there.

What I do hope for is that the small minority who indulge in misinformation, even what might be construed as intimidation, take a deep intake of breath and try and understand that their contributions to this site would be considered comical if there wasn't an undercurrent threat and bullying. Take a look in the mirror chaps and ask yourselves this, is there anything to be gained by your immature antics? Other than a sense of gormless self-satisfaction that seems to be the be-all and end-all of what brings you here.

Our admin are doing their best for no recompence at all, and if you're in any doubt about their sincerity then take a second and ask yourself if you can 'up your game' and embrace the site's civilised dialogue (yes, it does exist if you can be bothered to seek it out) rather than promote the awkward and deliberately provocative noise that masquerades as 'useful' and 'worthy' of attention.

Performances overall for 90 minutes have room for improvement, I do acknowledge that. But the results have been excellent and the league table doesn’t lie, even if your brain does.

Today was a blood and thunder cup tie. It was always going to be a tough game against a Wrexham team at home. In conclusion, I think some of your point have merit, but overall, you’ve shot your load too soon.
