2-1. Just got one back, a Goal for trialist. Always rated him, scores everywhere he goes.

Ball_Sup (Phil) and his network of spies are usually pretty good for this...any idea on the identity of T.Rialist? Assuming it's the same player he's scored 2 in 2.

The carrier bag firm are all over it , apparently he's been training with the u18s good second half cameo and a very well taken goal .tall lad as well put himself about .no names yet, needs a trip to taylor Taylor's

I'm very happy to respect posted views on the Gil Scott Heron original version of The Revolution Will Not Be Televised and the reworked Black Thought/Brian Jackson version.

But, I am going to do that annoying "in case you didn't know" thing.

In case you didn't know Jackson and Gil had a decade long partnership, from which many of Gil's most famous tracks emerged.

As a writer, composer, arranger and musician, Jackson was a key driving force behind Gil's music from that period.

It's not like Brian's reworking is old fashioned plagiarism.

I knew, owning several records of theirs. It doesn’t change my view though. He’s revamped The Bottle, It’s Your World and Racetrack in France as well as others , all falling well short of their original versions. Taken them in a different direction admittedly but for me, adding nothing. Hopefully he leaves the remainder of the Pieces of a Man album alone!

In case you didn't know...
Well aware of the connection with Brian Jackson and the Midnight Band as I was fortunate enough to see them live back in 75 or 76 on their first UK tour.
I think they appeared on OGWT too.
Fancy, 3 GSH fans on this small thread , made my day.😊
