Have EFL charged Forest yet?

Surely we can focus a few minds by intimating that we are willing to sue the Match Fixers for their criminal negligence in allowing thousands of drunk/coked up neanderthals on to the pitch illegally to attack our players and supporters. It particularly galled me that the knuckledraggers focused on the two players who were out with long term leg injuries and therefore had the most to lose if they were involved in any sort of tangle.

While we're on the subject, I don't suppose the Star has had anything to say on the cretinous behaviour of Notts Police in charging McBurnie and Brewster. No doubt the officers taking the decision are Match Fixer fans, could see the writing on the wall for their club and had half their extended family illegally on the pitch. Perhaps the important news the Star gets from Notts Police about cats in trees in Bawtry and traffic shunts on the Worksop bypass means that the relationship is too important to sour.

Not wanting to try to defend Forest in the slightest, but if "thousands" of fans want to invade the pitch there's pretty much fuck all anyone can do about it at the time

Be interesting to see what happens after the dust settles on mcburnie and brewster which should be thrown out in my mind.

One point that I'd forgotten about in the midst of all of it that night was that it was the only game I've been atwhere a firework/banger had been thrown on the pitch. Not one of those divvy smoke things but one that exploded.

I don't know how dangerous they are but I seem to recall a steward with a bucket starting towards in before it went off. Not sure if it would've done him some real damage but raised a question for me

For the holier than thou lot among you (I know most aren't actually) it came from the away end. Who would cop for that? the away club for having a fan carry it in and chuck it or the home club for letting it in?

Unrelated... what's the match fixer reference?
not sure unless its to do with the Nigerian Cup Final recently where there was a penalty shoot out and one of the teams lost because the penalty kicker kicked the ball so wide it went out for a throwing.

Thought they were going to wait until theMcBurnie case was done. Hope they get demoted 😂

I have absolutely no confidence that the FA will make an example of this shower of cunts. They've just been promoted to the PL and are the media darlings of the moment. Nothing will come of this.

Agreed token fine and a don't do it again incoming

‘Nottingham Forest supporters using threatening and/or violent behaviour’……McBurnie’s defence in a simple statement.

Deliberately delayed so there was no prospect of an opening fixture behind closed doors.
Not that they will come close to imposing a reasonable set of sanctions on the twats.
