We've obviously been after a right back all window, so it's clear Wilder wasn't content with out options there.
The injury issues Seriki was/is facing has emphasised this.

How i see it for the rest of this season:
Gilchrist will be used in tighter games when we're on the back foot.
Clarke will be used when we need someone who doesn't get a nosebleed when they go past the half-way line.
If Seriki does come back, then he'll be used as the impact sub, his pace and power can change games but he's not ready to be a starter yet.

Currently with Gilchrist, we're so easy to defend against on that right hand side.
They know he's not going to overlap so can double up on whoever is the right winger that day.

I thought going to a back 3 was what you were suggesting. Given the players we have brought into the squad this season, I just don't see it. Plus we've already proven in this league we do not need the extra defensive protection in most games.
