Promising going forward. O’Hare looked great. Grbic looked atrocious. How is has he managed to trick people in paying him a wage for all these years

How the fuck does a club with the resources of Athletico Madrid look at this lad and say “yeah if Oblak gets injured this is our guy”.

And don’t give me that shit about “yeah but he plays for his country”. So do Ward and Davies and they’re not much use either
His mum owns them?

O'Hare class apart. Left hand side looks good. McCallum, Dozell and Slimane all working together well. Good team goals from both O'Hare and Brooks. Achilles heel central defence and goalkeeper give them a goal they didn't deserve. You just can't put someone between the sticks who can't move his feet and his hands!!

Early days and against lower league opponents but these first 3 pre season games it's nice to see we starting to have a pattern of play, implementing a new style compared to last few years.

Dozzell has been looking tidy and composed in the dm role, albiet again against lower level opponent with not much pressure on him, can see us offering him a contract (squad player).

Wilder's interview after Chesterfield: "I'm not in the process of buying poor players"

Says the man who signed Ivo Grbic

I’m happy to dish the stick on a signing when it’s due, but there’s no way Wilder picked this fella.
It’s got that bollocks transfer board all over it…the ones who think they’re cleaver and able to pick out top foreign talent in the cheap…like Traore, Larouchi, Slimane and Grbic!
But they once suggested Soucek before hammers….yeah yeah
