Don't think anyone can argue he'd be a massive upgrade on Baptiste who was dreadful.

One question is why Baptiste was playing there at all, given it’s not his position and we have Tanganga who has played there a lot. Not to mention Doherty and (shudder) Shackleton.

Because Tanganga is our best centre half, Doherty (should have played) was not deemed fit enough and Shackleton is absolutely wank.
