Spend your money on new legs, we'll miss the late tackles and yellow cards. The way you generously give the ball away. Those bursts of speed.

It's over.

Bye then.

My client, who's identity must remain confidential, has instructed me to advise he will buy them all for £1.
Having considered my investment against SUFCs track record of Player Investments

I am going to play the long game (sorry pinchy) and hold onto them

It has been pointed out to me that Paul Coutts is still at the Club, money in the Bank :)

This, coupled with the track record of our Technical Comittee leads me to believe my stock is worth more than £1 and a new "Dean" will be along shortly

Of course, I will be able to monitor the Trading Value of my investment, by the amount of Braying from the South Stand at the first home game

That reminds me, I need to stock up on Tartan Blankets, and Soup Flasks

As has been said before at least Hammond and Woolford tried and looked like they gave a fuck! I'd rather have kept Hammond and paid up Coutts! What job does Coutts do? He certainly ain't a defensive midfielder cause he can't tackle. Is he attacking? Well he ain't scored for us yet. Box to box midfield? Well he's about as pacey as Hammond and is worse at getting around the pitch but at least Hammond can use his age as an excuse.

I'm not trying to defend Hammond I'm just saying that Coutts is far worse in my opinion.

Let's pray their is a few quid left from the pay off to bring in a centre half next week.

How many budgets must we have?

Paying managers off annually
PAying shit players good wages
Paying shit players contracts up

Oh

The current managers wage bill

I suspect the latter shall be funded by selling Adams/Done or Brayford or all 3

Best bit of business of the window so far

I'm pretty sure that his option to sign for a year would have been dependant on him making a set number of appearances during his loan period. If so, I'd love to know how many games it was because there was no way he wasn't going to achieve it, with his best mate Nigel putting him in the team, irrespective of ability or form.

I would imagine that he would have had a decent pay off. After all he was in the driving seat and could have sat his contract out.

At least this sorry chapter has been put to rest.

Another wage stealer off the books & hopefully a couple of signings next week & things will look rosey again.

Yup till we sell Adams/Done/Brayford

Sean Thornton - can we capex the compo to Hammond over a couple of years meaning our budget for this year is increased more or not, not sure financially how it could be swung in our favour other than it would have cost us 600k over the course of this year but now it will only effect the budget by 200k (completley made up numbers, have no idea what he was on)

Mmmmmmm. I think Adkins is the one who should take the blame. The club were only guilty of backing their Manager. But Adkins however................meh
I think your dead right there blade 58
the club gets tanked for many things
but they backed Adkins with this and really has come back to bite them on the arse.I think the Hammond debacle went a long way to Adkins sacking.A disastrous signing and I for one hold my hand up as I thought
he would have been good for the team.I like the club put there money on the wrong nag.

If we lose our first couple of matches, they'll be high demand. May I invest? I got some crayons

What a time to be Alive, don't let the door hit you on the Arse on the way out Dean. All of us would like to wish you a vicious dose of the Clap

Let's hope the departure of everyone's favourite player will be the catalyst for a couple of signings?

I'm wondering if it's more like the money used to pay him off would have been otherwise used for new signings. Having said that, the empty space left by Hammond is probably more useful than the player himself ;)
