Would that work well within a 4-2-2-2?
something like below? seems strange that we haven't seen Selles try other formations that he has with other clubs and I saw 4-2-2-2 being spoken about as one of those options.
was just reading something about Ralf Ranrick using that formation with double pivots but wasn't sure if it was the same idea or different

Potentially! I think the only issue there would be creativity. The only two chance creators in that side are Hamer and Burrows. Even O'Hare isn't really capable of regularly creating shot-creating actions. You'd probably need to swap O'Hare out for a Chair / Chakvetadze type number 10, or shift things around to get Burrows higher up the pitch.
