For a team that ‘aren’t rattled’ by the Hamer situation which apparently saw us with ‘egg on our face’, they sure are going on about it.

The transfer window closed 2 weeks ago yet they are STILL releasing stories to the papers.

Clearly Wilder and co have got under their skin as much as Harris did Trump yesterday!

They are scared of us and are just trying to put on a brave face. They were talking about how strong the league was and they mentioned Burnley, Sunderland and even Luton but not us. Basham arriving really did scar those muppets for life

Do you know I was about to open a thread saying the same thing . They seem to be obsessed with Sheff Utd .Everyday they take the opportunity to moan about the Blades or Chris Wilder . Whats it all about? Is it the fact that we did not let our star player join them for a sum way short of he worth? Or is it we have beaten them to a number of signings of players they thought was their devine right to have ? Time to act like adults and move on ,They are getting as bad as the other lot at Shef6 . KEEP YOUR TEDDIES IN THE PRAM.

Weeds CEO says they were given some encouragement regarding Hamer. Reading between the lines looks like it was the agent who just happens to have a Weeds player on his books. Apparently we don't have a friendly face at SUFC who can answer transfer questions due to the takeover, complete fabrication, so they low balled us and got told to Foxtrot Oscar. In essence confirms the allegation they were trying to unsettle the player. Shoddy practices correctly called out publicly by the manager.

The phrase " he certainly wouldn’t be on sale to Leeds United, and there was certainly no price that could pull him away." says it all. Weeds bloggers/ local media hacks take note.

I'm sure that Angus Kinnear had a pop at us in an article before. Something about when we signed someone they wanted. Can't remember who it was that time but apparently it was one thing to miss out to a big club but extra shitty when a target chose someone as low level as us over the the mighty twats.

He was just playing to his crowd. Leeds fans have this weird thing about being the football representative of Yorkshire and fucking hate it when any Yorkshire team is even close, let alone above them.

Ooh maybe they’ll put a lower bid in which we reject and then say that nobody friendly spoke to them, but it’s not their fault

We have zero pressure to sell and Hamer is happy here and under a long contract.

So the only way this could possibly happen is if they offer well above his £20 million market value.....let's say £25 to £30 million
and more importantly we have a better replacements lined up to give us a better chance of promotion.

I doubt Leeds would be offering over 25 million when their bid was an embarrassingly low £13 million
and I'm not sure we'll have some top players lined up to come in during the JWT. A lot will depend on where we are in the league.

So many variables at play where Gus is concerned. His value to the Blades is vital in the months to come, so to consider an incoming offer,
unless of course it went way beyond a figure such as £45K, seems self-defeating, especially if we're in the promotion mix.

Where else could we find a player of similar skill and guile to Hamer? Assuming we show the ambition to identify such a player, would their wage demands exceed our current wage structure?
Just as we were reportedly prepared to make Ndiaye our best paid player before he left SUFC, I would hope the same motivations would be in play to secure Gus to a new improved agreement.

Nothing negative or miserable about it, Wilder wasn't happy we couldn't get two more through the door due to financial constraints, it's universally accepted we "haven't got a barrel of money" we have a song about it. Therefore one way to generate funds without takeover is to sell a player, one of our more saleable assets is Hamer.

How would you suggest funds are generated?

Yeah so we will sell Hamer to Leeds in january. Not at all a negative or trolling thing to post
