"I think" not "we will"

But why would you think this when logic suggests we won’t.

The only factor where your prediction might happen relates to the new owners. If they are a cold hearted investment group then they might look at the spreadsheet and think we bought him for £16 million so if we sell for £20 then that’s a 4 million profit…then we can develop the promising Sidie Peck to replace him.

Where as if the Prince was in charge, he’ll be more emotional and personally attached to United thinking we only sell if it’s a stupid over the top offer.

Wilder missed out on two targets due to lack of funds as I've explained without new owners one way to generate funds to buy players is to sell players.

The “lack of funds” was due to being in the middle of a takeover and essentially having all the books frozen - we were able to use money from sales but not able to dip in to the pot so to speak.

If takeover is dead and not in progress come January then it’s not an issue. We don’t need to sell and he doesn’t want to leave. Worst case we sell fringe players (again) to bring someone in. Or take out another loan against future parachute payments, like we’ve done before. Weren’t not going to sell a £30m player just to bring two £3m players in.

If we'd received a proper offer, the Prince would have sold Berge and Ndiaye two January's ago.
If that had've happened, we'd not have gone up and I dread to think of the mess we'd subsequently be in.

I don't for one second believe the Prince's "emotional attachment" to the club outweighs his fears of being stuck with a loss-making business that he can't get rid of.
Maybe he'll take a big calculated gamble and resist big player offers, but I definitely wouldn't count on it.

Like Heckingbottom before him, Wilder's doing a great job in the Championship but it's against another backdrop of financial uncertainty and it threatens to undermine his efforts.

There seems to be less and less business done in January. A Premier League simply looking to strengthen their squad won't be attractive to Gus unless the money is stupid.

A lot of people on here appear to still have the 'McCabe mindset'.
Why on earth would Utd consider selling their best player when they have a real chance to getting promotion this season?
Because, until recently, that is what United did. Our history is littered with the sale of our best players and we have, on more than one occasion, snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. I sincerely hope that we don’t continue that tradition.

Not since McCabe left it hasn't. If anything, some players should have been sold earlier that they were under PA's ownership in order to maximise value.

Nothing wrong in it. Very similar to the Kyle Walker type comments.

We need a right back again in the summer (and a centre back).

Cheeky Kyle Walker bid and Big H back in to play with Anel and Burrows. Calvert-Lewin in if he can stay fit? 😉

Exactly. Don't see it as an expression to leave. Just a throwaway comment to Dutch media about a Dutch club.

In fact in an earlier interview (may have even been same one), said was looking forward to having another crack at the Prem as feels he's good enough.

Kyle next summer, 2026. When his City contract expires and he's turning 36. Surely!?

Non story if we are promoted to the Premier League as he will not want to miss out on the money he will get playing next season. However he will likely be sold if we don’t go up.

If we don't promote I can see one of the relegated clubs testing us on Hamer on the summer window.Logical they would want to weaken us while boosting themselves.

Overseas, then. Can’t see a PL club coming in for him.
Not good enough and too old to develop in PL. don’t get me wrong he’s got talent in bursts but not enough over 90mins to dominate a game we’ll keep/usehim if we get in PL cause unless these new owners really mean business I can’t see us developing a team of PL ready proven players, especially if Wilders still here.
