A fair few constantly voiced concerns like this against players like Duffy and Gibbs-White. They try things, that’s their purpose in the team. Not everything comes off but when it does, blimey it’s worth it. He’s easily our best player, it takes some doing to try to slag him off.

Hamer was anonymous today and when he did join in it was usually to start one of portmouths attacks

He’s not immune to criticism, no one is.

For me he was poor again today and made some baffling decisions in game. His handball first half was a real head scratcher.

It certain doesn’t help when he’s put in different positions but he’s definitely not 100% positive contributions atm.

To be honest the flexibility of the system between O’Hare and Hamer means that they buzz around in front of Davies and Peck/ Souza.

Today Hamer wasn’t great but then again it seemed we got overrun until Peck dropped deeper into the Souza role. We missed Souza again
