Feel for him in a way

Signing him then throwing him in after 24 hours into a wank side is like taking a knife to a gun fight

He’s conceded what 20-25 goals, and I look and think they’re not his fault, just good goals……
But can that be the case?
is he that good he doesn’t make an error, or that shit positionally he’s not getting near a shot

He needs to settle down and get some good minutes in at the training pitch with some one on one coaching. He has the attributes to be a decent keeper but needs work i.e. knowing when to come off his line and be a presence in the box. A work in progress and for a £2m fee I don't think it was too much of a punt from the club. He could come good for us. I still want us to sign a decent goalkeeper in the summer though to give him serious competition.

The 10 players in front of him and the guys in the dugout could definitely help Grbic a lot more than they do.

If we constantly allow elite footballers to have all the time and space they need down the wings, in the box, and on the edge of the box, then crosses are going to land on the head/foot of the opposition, and shots will be taken by players who will then place the ball wherever the hell they like ie. Out of the keepers reach.

We proved yesterday that pressing the Fulham defenders lead to mistakes and then goals. So why do we not do any of that in our own half?


Any sane person would see that graph, see how many we've conceded this season, and think "hmm there's probably a correlation there, maybe time to think about doing something about it"

Completely fair to want to bring in another good keeper and not to be convinced by Grbic so far, it's the people writing him off as though we need a PL standard keeper next season.

We've seen it recently; players that are shite in the PL can be good players in the Champ. People like Slimani, Traore, Osborn and Norwood could still be part of a top 6 team next season for all we know.
(Not saying we should necessarily keep them all.)
