Still top of the league and, in my opinion, all thanks to real "Blade" performances from Wes and Iliman.

Wes's double save was brave, professional and crucial, and Iliman's off-the-ball running was the best defensive performance on the pitch - closely followed by RND..

BrewDog may have ability, but compared to the effort and commitment of Ndiaye, he is a lazy coward. McB was great again, but dicking their keeper when he had the ball in both hands is a part of him that has to go away. Also, when we are ahead he should never have been taken off for Brewster.

Regular shit below:-

Graph 1 is the usual comparison to last year - 17 points compared to Slav's 9 points after 8 games - enough said - Slav only got 3 from the next 3 games as well!!

Graph 2, comparing to last year's league position, really emphasizes that we are just different class this year. The next match (Matchday 9) was Slav's peak (11th!!) - he started a real decline after that!!

Graph 3 is the usual comparison to my benchmark results to achieve Playoffs and Autos - still just 1 point behind my Autos line (Remember that my benchmark lines for promotion are based on who we are facing in the actual games, not on a general statistical average - that is why they are not straight lines).

Graph 4 is a comparison with our last 2 (Wilder) promotion seasons. You can see that on 17 points after 8 games we are 4 points ahead of the 13 that we had in both Wilder's 100 point League 1 promotion season in 16/17 and in his 18/19 Championship promotion season. Mind you, we did win the next 4 in 18/19 (Preston, Millwall, Blackburn, Hull)!!

Finally, the current League Table obviously still makes brilliant reading. Seeing our goal difference 5 better than anybody else is really something to enjoy.
I also have my own alternative table, based on scoring and defending, which I may share later on when we are further down the line. At present, we are top in my league table as well, but it suggests that, in the actual league table below, Reading are way above where they should be, and West Brom and Rotherham are well below.

Anyway, another night to enjoy ethanol-based fluids.

Do you have a graph showing the possession stats of the last 10 games ,one when we play out from the back and one when we go long, and include any touches from Norwood as well as the number of backwards passes that lead to opportunities in the final third, preferably down the flanks in the final 20 minutes of each of the games??

I did have...and I've forgot where I've put it,fkn typical !
😀

Given where we are now, I'd be more than happy with 6 points from the next 3 games, 1 at home, 2 away.

Then it's the international break and we have 3/4 at home, so a real chance to push on.
