Yep. 1995- 2015. 20 years I hardly went. Very disillusioned with various boards/managers and life can get in the way. Took my boys occasionally but when youngest was dropping hints of wanting to go more ended up buying season tickets again.

You could always follow St Pats.....lots of their supporter follow the Blades too.
That’s true and some are season ticket holders at the lane , and big mates with the Handsworth lads there’s roughly 60-70 “ Irish Blades “ and on a good day close to 20 could travel
Illness prevented my trip home v Bournemouth

I stopped going about 2001 as moved away with work then family life kicked in and I was never near enough, rich enough or had the time all at the same time, I’ll health has now been added to that list but I dragged my son to any local games we could get to( helped when we were in league 1) , last few years have been pretty much the same, I was that fat idiot with my son who walked the teams out at Birmingham city as we were in corporate and won a game , Kevin Gage was in the same function room, even got to speak to Billy before kick off which was incredible
My son brought me a ticket to the west ham match on the kop and I loved it, the atmosphere, how friendly everyone is & then VAR stepping in at the last moment was just brilliant
I don’t know wether I’ll ever get to being a season ticket holder again but with the help of streams I’ve watched every minute of this season and I’ve felt connected for the first time in years, so I give thanks to the mighty blades, Chrissy Wilder, the songs and the internet ( I better say my family) ⚔⚔⚔
I believe you have summed the majority of Blades individual support very well, In short "Life" takes over. Unless your extremely wealthy, very lucky or selfish you've all on to juggle life in order to see lots of games. I was the same as yourself. As a kid hardly missed a home game sprinkled with away ones Christmas, Easter and the odd ones that fitted my benefactors (family) schedules.
1957 started playing in local leagues so only games when didn't clash with playing.
Left Sheffield Aug '61 so nothing till May1 '63 plus Liverpool on the 11th. Next game WHU Jan 11 '64 followed by Owls at Hillsborough.
Marriage and kids kept things spasmodic till mid '90's. When accompanied by my avatar, a regular since '46 and probably a frequent attender before that, to 2011 when his health failed and I needed to concentrate on another part of life. Season ticket this season, same seat I had over 9 years ago.
What ever it takes to be a Blade, we come in all shapes and sizes and none are bigger than others that's left to other clubs.
