Nearly the best in league.10 games ago scunthorpe had way the better goal difference .slowly clawing that advantage back

Scunny have taken 5 points from their last 5 games, meaning their GD hasn't improved at all. We however.....

Unless a team had drawn all 5 it would.
True, just saying that technically a team can get 5 points from 5 games and receive either a substantial positive to their goal difference or a substantial negative. Pedantic, but true.

Scunthorpe's fixtures going forward are interesting.

They've had some very tough fixtures recently & they've suffered, but now the fixtures become a bit easier for them.

In saying that, it's their home games that become much easier. Their away games remain demanding - next 6: Northampton/Charlton/Southend/Blades/Bristol Rovers/Fleetwood. But their relatively easy home games will probably allow them to get a bit of momentum going again.

Similarly, all Bolton's away games up until the end of February are tough: Southend/Franchise/Bradford/Blades. And they've got home games v Rochdale and Charlton in among their easier home fixtures.

I'd rather we looked shite and just got the extra point...Its not a vanity contest
Nobody said it was dont get your knickers in a twist over it .its only a comment made in a good gesture
