I get it.

Hamer (on form) is the best player in the league. But O'Hare is consistent.

We're clawing our way up the league. We need consistency. We need results. We need to grind it out.

O'Hare has been our player of the season so far, the only shining light in the first couple of months.
Hamer gets fit and O'Hare is dropped for last 3 games.

Tonight and v Norwich we were crying out for his energy

We have to put our most physically capable team out every week. In the two or three game weeks underline the previous sentence. We got ran all over and bullied tonight.

It’s weird because last season I thought O’Hare was very average on the whole, but played every week. This season he’s been one of our best players but is getting rotated. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah but he got fucked with illness and it showed this week.

I agree but I also think he’s much less effective individually in this 442 setup. He’s not a wide player & struggles one v one against defenders marking him tightly.

We have such an unbalanced squad & need to start forward planning.

Wilder doesn't want anyone getting above themselves.
Unless it's Wilder.

Was he fit? Do we know that he's not been sick this week?

We'd apparently had illness through the squad this week and Wilder himself said this week that Hamer couldn't play the full game on Tuesday since he's not fully fit and returning from injury. So the natural conclusion would've been that Wilder would've played O'Hare since he's been a huge part of the his recent run we'd been on.

O'Hare has played 72 mins v Norwich and 20 mins v WBA, Hamer has played 32 mins v Norwich and 90 mins v WBA.

We know that McCallum and Riedewald were both missing on Tuesday because of illness, but there could also be other players who've been sick as well as carrying knocks.
