WHAT THE FUCK???

Where the hell are they getting their money from? This is a huge signing. Will have cost at least 500k and Ipswich were in for him.

That perhaps indicates that Bogle's better than his spell at Wigan suggests. Not too surprising that Warnock's taken a punt on him.

Ojo's a great signing for Fulham. As if they needed any more quick, skillful attacking players.

Bogle could be a good signing for Cardiff so long as he doesn't end up being a direct replacement for Zohore should they decide to cash in.

Fulham signing Ojo is a great signing he'll add more pace, power & trickery to an already quick, strong & direct front 3.

I feel for the defenders of this league playing Fulham

Yes, Assombalonga looks like silly money but Boro have basically shipped out Rhodes and replaced him with Assombalonga for £4m. Decent deal in anyone's book....apart from Wednesday's.

Especially when you consider they've made £1million by replacing Rhodes and Reach with Assombalonga.

I think Piazon broke his leg at Leeds on Tuesday so they needed to strengthen. He was an important player for them.

Fulham still need a centre forward, if they sign one and maybe one or two other players including a defender they should have enough to get in the top 2.

They've just loaned Cauley Woodrow out to Bristol City. He's one I thought we could look at. He scored 5 in 14 for Burton last season, to do that in a Nigel Clough team is a remarkable achievement. Unsurprisingly they wanted him too. I feel so, so sorry for Clough that he didn't manage to get him, especially after losing his main striker and record signing to injury for the season. Bless.

What a surprise. Pigs are up to FFP limit, rumours surface about punch up, Forestieri goes because 'he's disturbing team spirit' and nowt to do with 'we've got a shit bunch of useless twats and need to bring some more in'.

No Che Adams in the Birmingham squad last night - wasn't there rumours of him moving this summer? Could be another sell on fee?

A little surprised by this. Cardiff won't be as potent without him up front.

I wouldn't get too excited about the sell on fees...it's not like it ever gets reinvested into the team. The amount of money spent during this transfer window has been pathetic considering how much money we've got through sell on fees alone. Wilder has identified targets (which aren't even big money signings) and the board have let him down. I can't say i'm surprised.

Very surprised. Decent money, but a bad decision at a time when they have a great chance of promotion.

And Leeds look like selling Chris Wood to......... Burnley!

Yeah I saw that as well. Crazy to sell him unless they have someone very good lined up.

Leeds are said to be signing Pierre-Michel Lassoga from Hamburg, but for me if they sell Wood they're selling their promotion chances, they won't get anyone as good as him.

How much have we brought in? Who are the targets Wilder has identified? Have we bid for them and if so how much?

If you don't agree with the guy, why don't you just say so? It's ok to disagree rather than demanding proof of someone's opinion. I'm sure you know just as well as any of us, roughly, how much money has come into the club from the Walker sale (around £5M), who we have identified (Lenihan and Leonard being two examples) and what we have supposedly bid, around £500k for both as far as we know, maybe a bit more?).

It has been clearly stated by McCabe that we need further investment from outside the club. Wilder has said he would ask for a share of those sell on fees to bring in more players - "and if the answer is no, that's fair enough" he said. Well, the answer is "no answer" so far isn't it? The silence on this has been deafening (unless I've missed it?).

This suggests to me that Wilder doesn't have additional funds from the sell on of Walker and perhaps has been told to unload people like Brayford who are on big money first?

It's not a case of just disagreeing with him, I'd like him to actually convince me that his opinion is correct and the best way to do that is to back it up with some facts. The way he stated his opinion made it sound like he knows the answers to the questions I've posed. Surely asking questions is what this message board is all about? If I came up with an opinion which seemed to completely go against all logic and didn't back it up I'd expect to be asked questions about it.

In regards to 'not reinvesting' what we've brought in I'd suggest that we are trying to. We brought in roughly £6m (apparently) and we've bid roughly £1.5m for Lenihan and £2.4m for Coady. To me that suggests we're willing to at least reinvest £4m (ish) out of what we received in sell on fees.

Why would you get excited about that L9, Harry and K2 sell on money has not been heard of since moves. Bought us nowt.

Just have a guess what would happen if McCabe & Wilder said in public that Chris could have some, any or all of the money made from sell-on clauses.

My first guess is that any prospective sellers of players we want would put the price up accordingly, thinking that we can afford it.
My second guess is that both Kevin & Chris are far too smart for that.
My third guess is that you hadn't thought about this before you posted.
My fourth guess is that "fans" criticising players that we are looking (or likely) to sell do not realise that this may reduce the price that buyers would be prepared to offer or put them off all together.

How about leaving this kind of work to the experts? Do we trust Chris? ;)
