it was quite a few years ago. but doesn't anyone remember 1 of Gary's replacements who was so bad. I remember him being 1 of the poshest people ive heard at the lane.

Also, regarding stadium announcers, we must never forget the legendary Ian Ramsey who paved the way for Gary Sinclair. His "Beautiful Down Town Bramall Lane" phrase will stay with me forever.

Anybody who objects to Gazza has had their sense of fun and their sense of humour removed. Gazza is a legend, and we’ll all miss him when he hands over to some vanilla pc talking head. The atmosphere was flat when he was having his knee fixed. He’s about more than Blades, he’s about Sheffield - hence why he gives a push to some local sheffield bands every week.

As someone who doesn’t buy a programme, I wish he would announce the away team before kick off.
I did like him calling WBA Norwich, though. That was good.

He probably doesn’t announce the away team lineup so their fans can’t cheer as it’s read out. Also, anyone who wants to know the lineup will just look at it on their phone.

I think the problem with our fan base is we are so blinded by self hatred we can’t bring ourselves to point out anything the club does well.

I’ve watched United on 70 odd grounds and Gary Sinclair is far superior to any announcer I’ve heard anywhere else.

It's the guy that used to do the SUTV stuff, I think he's occasionally done women's games as well. bloody awful.

That’s a requirement of the new fan zone. They don’t pay the artists so they give them some exposure at half time. Doesn’t bother me cause I can’t understand a word he’s saying on BL upper corner usually
