You have it there,’knows the club’ ‘he gets it’ ‘he’s a blade’ ‘got Pashun’ ‘took us to a 9th place finish’. It’s boring and predictable from some of ours. I thought that lot of scrubbers lived in the past but quite a few of ours are drifting that way. I’ll say it again, that football in his second tenure has been nothing short of laborious, passive, square pegs in round holes, disjointed, embarrassing manager antics I’ve seen since Mickey Adam’s.
Couldn't agree more. Just wish the alternative were a little more inspiring.

That's so condescending
No, it's personal life choices and experience

I've said before that American business people are big on success, image and branding

Once they came in, our senior people should have been all over that and tightened the ship up. Our staff are professional adults and it's also for them to research it too.

They didn't and it's very likely to have been part of the equation they're looking at.

Hard business v popularity.

No it's a sweeping generalisation based on no evidence.

It says more about you than the motivations of anyone who thinks Wilder should still be the manager.

I think he should be but I do have some reservations.

Despite wanting him to stay. I don't aspire to be like him, I have a good job, a lovely family and I don't act like a knob in public.

I beginning to feel a little underwhelmed with these names linked to us.
I was thinking a total clean sweep and maybe try something different like a foreign coach, but O'Neil and Cooper(Sorry just don't rate him) and Tinnion i think i would sooner stick with Wilder.

The difference is, Adams got us relegated from the Championship. Wilder took us within a whisker of promotion last season following a major rebuild during the summer. Yes, they are both Blades, but suporting the club should not be a stick to beat the manager with.

We were close but ultimately we became also rans. I know you don’t agree, everybody is entitled to free speech and opinion, but we have to move direction,no one has a clue what the owners are plotting but they aren’t in this money driven sport to throw investment away.

O'Neil was very highly rated this time last year. Not sure what went so wrong at Wolves last season though. I did post a while ago though, that the new owners were big fans of him.....
What wouldn't have helped us that Wolves sold Kilman last summer and apparently didn't reinvest in the squad, which reportedly didn't go down well with O'Neil as he couldn't replace him.

He wouldn't have been the only Wolves manager to complain about this, Julian Lopategui kicked up a real fuss about Wolves owners not investing money (especially from player sales) back into the squad, think that one was the money they got from City for Matheus Nunes.

It’s not what we wish for. Owners have put a stake in the ground and if Wilder won’t budge they’ll do what owners do.
Worst outcome is they lay down the law, Wilder stays and doesn’t do their bidding.
Internal warfare is not good in football clubs.
We don’t actually know that he won’t budge. There’s a lot of supposition on that point.

That’s why I said “if” Wider wont budge
I’m pretty sure their expectations were laid out last year when he signed his new deal. It’s not going to be Wilder now taking his ball home that causes him to be sacked. It will be because they’ve decided to go another direction.

You could hear Wilder’s disdain for the 2 signings made by the owners in January, he’s a sceptic and they’ll never get the near the first team with him around just on principle in my opinion. It may also of course be because they’re a steaming pile of shite and he’s completely correct not to have them in the squad but only those who see them play/train will know.

I know someone who's seen them regularly in training and rates them Northern Premier standard at best.

Maybe that's why CW wants eyes on potential signings, he has the clubs best interest at heart

Jeff’s performances for the U21s, whilst not at Championship level, are certainly above NPL standard. I think we can safely ignore your friend’s opinion.

I've seen him numerous times ,hes tidy on the ball ,wants it in to feet ,but I feel he lacks the physicality what's needed but any daft bugger can play at npl level .some fruit cases come on here
