Until the takeover is complete, assuming that's still happening then it's likely to be a loan coming in for forward competition. A free agent now will have had no preseason so I'm less confident we'll go down that route. Maybe Campbell is the exception but nothing has happened there yet and he's been available for weeks.

I'd like someone tall to offer cover for Moore but more mobile, has some decent pace so can maybe play as a winger instead. Someone like Osula!

Although different to the above the £750,000 deal Millwall got for Langstaff looks great business right now.
 

Tommy Conway Bristol City won't sign a contract extension to his deal that ends in 2025. Has been forced to train with U21s Middlesborough sniffing around. He has played 92 games for Bristol City and scored 25 goals. At 21 he is quite experienced. Probably going to cost between £5m and £8m

Thats exactly what they are, Kids with potential. People making out they were first team players who each bagged 20 goals last season. Potential, nothing more. We are a business, business needs money to run. 15m for Osula is bat shit crazy money that no one would be turning down.

Theres a stark difference between a happy clapper and people pissing and moaning for the sake of it. Flip it around. United pay 15m, or even 10m, in fact fuck it. United sign someone for free, at Osulas age, with his goal scoring record and people would be climbing the walls at such a dross signing. Red and white tinted glasses on all around with the Osula deal. Hes tall and quick and has potential but id rather have the 15m right about now.

Not sure if you were intending to quote reply to me and failed miserably.

The fact they are 21, if you don't think they are kids makes the deal even better..neither of them have scored or performed at any sort of decent level which means we should be moving heaven and earth to make them stay and turning down bids for them when we, as a business, need cash and players all over the park, not potential.

Osula is 15, as per the latest report from sky sports. Originally started at 10+5 but then went to 15+5. The screenshot from sky sports is on the Osula thread.

Football has changed. Almost every club in the world loses money and sells players. People should just accept that we're going to sell players if the offers are in the clubs best interests and they need cash flow. It's genuinely not rocket science.

Already suggested by 10-0 win I think, but Henrik Meister is a danish 20 year old striker with similar attributes to Osula and Jebbison. 6'3, strong and fast. Received some criticism after a slow start in Norway and only recently started scoring, but many young strikers are like that. Now joint top scorer in Norway, scoring all his 8 goals in the last 5 games.

 
Really we could do with a least one probably two on permanent deals as Moore is the only senior striker now contracted beyond this season

Assuming osula is gone I'd like one loan and one permanent. I think cannon would be a decent option for the loan. Not sure what else is out there and realistic for us.

So if we reportedly getting Rak-Sakyi (who will excite more than Ndiaye imo) who’s going to come in to score goals?

If Millar is a right forward it makes sense with JRS on the left and Moore in the middle. But is Moore the main man? Could cannon come in all guns blazing? Can’t see us going with 1 recognised forward unless we are risking Brewster.

Feel like someone to challenge Moore new s next on the list following sakyi and cooper. Noone has really stood out, I like the look of Cannon but it's not exactly guaranteed goals. Do we wait for the takeover and go big?
 

RJJ from Posh again, not sure how much he’d cost but he could cover LW and ST. Someone of his profile would be fun.

Divin Mubama is still a free agent as well, we were linked with him a couple of times.
 
He played for Mark Duffy's club Warrington before getting a move to Scotland so presumably if Wilder has s interested then he'll have had the lowdown from the bounce slayer!

Posted this in the relevant thread in the last JTW, but he was clearly behind at least two strikers who the club has since seen as surplus to requirements, and it's hard to think he's made any significant improvements since then, so I don't see how such a move would be anything other than wasting a loan
