Forum Football - Sunday 22nd July

This is in General Blades Chat as it is an open invite to all, I know a number of regulars are away next weekend so we may be light on numbers, but we'll see.

For a few years, a number of us have been intermittently meeting on a Sunday morning to have a friendly, "non-competitive" game of football. It started as a way to keep in touch through the close season and carried on.

All age-ranges and abilities are welcome and the cost of the pitches are shared equally between those playing.

This week we'll be playing at Powerleague (Pitz), behind Woodbourne Road Tram Stop (S9 3HL) and the cost will be around £2 each.

So, if anyone is free this coming Sunday morning and fancies a game, this is what you need to know:

Venue: Powerleague (Pitz), behind Woodbourne Road Tram Stop (S9 3HL)

Time: 10:00
Cost: Around £2 each.
What you need: Trainers or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional. A sense of humour.

Guests are welcome.

Please yay or nay for definite by Friday night if possible.

I too will be properly fucked from two nights of tramlines shenanigans, but if i'm not dead or dying i should be there. Won't be able to confirm until sunday morning though, and i'll almost certainly have to play solely in goal.

i have a late check out at the copthorne hotel, does anyone know what time that usually is?

I can't blame you. I have a feeling that i will still be pissed at 10am on Sunday morning. I'm out all day Friday and Saturday with tramlines. Love it.
