i used to enjoy listening to said programme but a lately i think its some sort of haven for the brain dead dime bars of our society,i was listening last night and i was sure i heard one of said people saying rob page for the next blades manager whaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttt, now it is possible that i misheard this as i have had an accident and am taking painkillers, but for fucks sake, rob page whats he done apart from just getting the bullet from chesterfield, good player for us mind. listening to prats like that caller, him and brian the knobhead blade plus the stupid dingle who moans about barnsley not being live commentry every week, its enough to make you want to overdose

Is it just me or does there seem to be a football heaven post every other week saying exactly the same things?

Everyone has the power to control this, just turn it off and dont listen, it works for lots of blades fans and has a 100% success rate.

It's the same people ringing up all the time, like a stuck record. Best one last night was from a Blades fan who thinks that Vokes is the man to change us, he goes to the games, and when we brought Vokes on, on Tuesdasy for Cresswell he made all the difference. Bring Vokes on, I must have missed something as he was on when we kicked off, I know he didn't do much in the first half, but open your eyes man. Or is this the level of caller we have.

I don't know what annoys me more, now. Idiots that ring up or Paul Walker talking to the idiots like they're... idiots. It must be hard for him but you've got to maintain a level of professionalism and try to keep it upbeat. He can't wait to get them off the phone, lately.

The programme is dying a slow and lingering death, I know 'Dave' who gets a call from them most nights for his opinions, but most of the regular callers who talk about us make me cringe, Brian is on most nights to wind people up and to get a response, then theres 'The Thinker' "A FINK, A FINK ERM A FINK". The whole show is well past its best before date.

Stopped listening ages ago, I used to cringe when 'Brian the nob' ever got on, I would expect he's worse now, plus the 'I haven't been today but....' crowd who call in, they got to the point where I was swearing at the radio, I think they should just run it after matches now and hopefully get rid of the idiots and brain dead who were getting too much airtime!

I quite like Paul Walker (unlike many on here who lash into him regularly). He is a class above Giddings and Bennett, who have obvious limitations as broadcasters. I think he'll move on to bigger & beter things eventually.
I also like the way he deals with the many f*ckwits who call P&G (I usually switch off after 10 mins these days, so mundane has it become!). He almost reminds me of Stuart Linnell who did a similar thing on Radio Hallam way back when, when Linnell disagreed in no uncertain terms, he did to the point of rudeness if the caller was an idiot, they rarely came back and left the show open for some better debate. P&G these days is f*ckwit city!

Paul Walker has already moved on to bigger and better things tbh.

He spends most Saturdays at the BBC TV station recording for the Championship or whatever it's called at daft o'clock.

Rob Statten, Andy Giddings and Seth Bennett are the Typical BBC PC brigade and often trip up on their own arguments and statements. Giddings especially has made more broadcasting mistakes during commentary than most. I really don't get why they let mostly embarrassing callers on. Every person should be limited to call once per week, that way we would get a wide array of callers. Also maybe they should invite Fans in to sit their and comment on the callers points. Use a raffle system or summat to get the fans in. Get a proper live forum going.

Just a suggestion

Stopped a couple of years ago. Many things on that programme wound me up including the bizarre claims being made by pigs which just went unchallenged by the presenters and the painfully obvious lack of callers which has meant boring or idiotic callers being given several minutes of airtime to drone on.

Programme needs a break. It can't sustain daily progammes any more. Maybe it should just be Friday for pre match stuff, Saturday and then Monday for the inquests.

Or better still, Friday pre-match, Saturday all day and couple of hours on Sunday for a post-mortem. Leave mid-week unless there are mid-week games. If there isn't let Gerry Curzy have an extra hour slot cause that Dean Pepple does my nut in.

I sometimes think about ringing up and having a blether on about not a great deal, just to see if Seth/Andy/Paul/Beverly will twig that I'm winding them up, but frankly I can't be arsed. They just get the pillocks like Brian on every other day, teamed with thick as a yard of lard Dingles who never actually go to any football matches yet want to praise or moan about matches they have not seen.

The best thing about listening to P&G is that it can be turned off, and it hasn't been turned on for ages.

I had a chance to listen this evening and oh dear. It took 17 minutes for anybody to call, so it might be dying on its feet anyway. I had hoped it'd be populated by thick grunters, but sadly, the worst call, which was so bad it could have been an SV wind-up, was from a Blade.

He said he wanted us to play a completely differnt formation to make us more solid, instead of 4-4-2, he advocated 4-4-1-1. seth was very patient with him and eventually established was that he wanted Monty in front of the back four, so really, it was 4-1-4-1 perhaps? "Aye, that's what I meant"
