Podcasts, both those dedicated to the blades and those about football in general. I did listen to the BBC ‘Blades Heaven’ podcast but that seems to have disappeared. So what do people that used to listen to Football Heaven listen to now? Genuine question.
To completely murder a quote in a Dickens book, they employ Luxmy Gopal, therefore I declare it to be good…Stop talking bollox. Plenty of good stuff offered by the BBC, for me anyway. I know it is a target for a certain demographic though. #dEefHunDdErbBc
Whitehouse and Mortimer gone fishingPeople still thinking the BBC produces anything worth consuming in 2025 ffs
That sounds like Partridge's back up to Inner City SumoWhitehouse and Mortimer gone fishing
Well, I’ve recently acquired a VPN so take a wild guess…So what do people that used to listen to Football Heaven listen to now? Genuine question.
Then you don’t know what you’re talking about. That sounds like Partridge's back up to Inner City Sumo

I disagree in general, but decided to reply as today I have watched the first three episodes of Adam Curtis’ new documentary Shifty on BBC iPlayer. I think it is brilliant (so far), and every review I have read agrees.People still thinking the BBC produces anything worth consuming in 2025 ffs
Are you sure you weren’t just on one of the threads here?I made the mistake of flicking it on for a couple of minutes yesterday for some background noise.
Heard some fuckwit talking about ‘these AI’ players as if we literally just used chat GPT. Then demanded Sean Dyche come in immediately.
I turned it straight off.
Agreed, but we’d be here until next year if we start listing all the brilliant programmes the BBC broadcast!
It's not their Wendy love in that annoyed me , it's their arrogance and belittling of their listeners , when they have not understood the possible ramifications of the Caceres sale, with regard to ESC spots , maybe they are not as clever as they seem to think they are ???Notice their account on here hasn't commented or posted recently.. might be down to them alienating any listener who's not a pig.
Kids TV output is pretty unbelievable, not the cynical lab tested Cocomelon bollocks which destroys attention spans. Great f’little uns.
People still thinking the BBC produces anything worth consuming in 2025 ffs
BBC Film has produced some brilliant films over the years and continues to do so.
And away. That sounds like Partridge's back up to Inner City Sumo
Suffering through listening to these two morons to check out if any transfer updates but they just had a lovely little exchange mocking a Blades fan for daring to suggest that the Caceres departure
Might kick start at least one incoming. Literally chuckled to each other a minute or so of self-important drivel.
Forgot how much I hate this programme!
Yep - he’s gone from 2 weeks ago proclaiming that it needed 8-10 weeks of work to conveniently side stepping the issue. It’s all very strange that it miraculously now has a safety certificate & no-one is asking exactly what work had to be done to make it safe……and did Chancer pay for it? All very strange …..or was it just all part of the ‘woe is me Pigs sympathy’ strategy!Near the end of tonites FH,someone asked is it safe to sit in the NS now, what work has been done ?
The font of all pig knowledge Staton...side stepped the question by saying he did not have the expertise to pass on his thoughts.
Second Hillsboro death trap just waiting to happen......#hammeriteowls
Hypernormalisation, Black Lake and Can't Get You Out Of My Head. All fantastic pieces of work from Curtis...and FH isn't that bad if you listen to it with an open mind. Given me plenty of interesting stuff over the years - remember being in Paradise Square after being at which ever match it was to hear that Blackwell had gone.I disagree in general, but decided to reply as today I have watched the first three episodes of Adam Curtis’ new documentary Shifty on BBC iPlayer. I think it is brilliant (so far), and every review I have read agrees.
Curtis has been making some of the best TV in the world for decades, mainly for the BBC.
I think FH is fine, although it is difficult to regularly get ‘quality’ callers so that lets it down. Staton is normally well balanced, and although I agree he can close down debates sometimes, most often when the calls are embarrassingly stupid, he has done this for both sets of fans.
All the Curtis docs are incredible pieces of art. Never going to get Netflix turning something like that out.I disagree in general, but decided to reply as today I have watched the first three episodes of Adam Curtis’ new documentary Shifty on BBC iPlayer. Is that one of them there electric plug-in thingies.Rob Staton is like a lot of Pigs - totally full himself. He constantly drives his own agenda.
