If Brooks is worth £10m with purely potential then Fleck has to be worth at least the same. First team player week in week out for two seasons and a vital member of the team and he's only 25 still not even in his prime. £6m? fuck off have a rethink Brighton.

If this were to happen it would be a far more serious blow than losing Brooks. Given that Wilder has both an increased budget plus, so we're lead to believe, a significant portion of the Brooks transfer, I can rationalise this as a means of strengthening the first team.....but losing Fleck?!? I thought we were meant to be attempting a concerted attack on a promotion place? Losing Fleck would be damaging to any hopes we might have of achieving this, and no matter who we brought in, it would send out a message that we're still not serious about taking a step up.

I hope there's nothing to this, but losing Fleck would be on a par with losing Deane.....can somebody offer an insight into what's actually happening?

I agree, I got a call off a mate who's down in Brighton, he's been asked by a few people about fleck as he had his shirt on, and how he felt about him going there.

I honestly believe that 12-15 million for Brooks was a good deal. If there is any truth in this i would be gutted if he left for any amount, we couldnt replace him without spending mega bucks!
