If we sign McFadzean and Leon Clarke like I'm hoping that will be a big step, then I'd still like us to go for another winger, another central midfielder and to keep hold of Freeman (for cover) and Che Adams. I suspect we'll sell Adams. I don't think Basham and Fleck will give us enough as a midfield two.

He's definitely not a dead Tory politician so no worries there. Hopefully he will also be more effective than Leon Britton was when he was here (though he's not done bad at Swansea).

This is the right sort of move, a player who actually stood out in this division last season, he was available and we moved and got him, not much more we all ask for than that and what we have been calling for us to do for the last three years.

As I said on the other thread perhaps at last we have people at the club who know what they are doing.
