Gutted that we should have had at least another 5 points during Wilder’s spell, which would have really put us back in the mix. I’m going for 28, but I don’t think 30+ is impossible.

I think Wilder needs to be able to show the players at the end of the season a league table that is based on since he took over and it shows us as competitive.

He needs that to make the players believe they are potentially somewhere good enough to take on the Championship proactively and win enough games. Slow starts kill a promotion campaign unless you go on a mad run like Southampton have.
