Just to clarify, I have never been and I will not ever be censored by Sheffield United Football Club or anyone acting on their behalf. Its not a case of allowing them to misrepresent coverage, it's a case of respecting the request of the hosts of the evening not to cover LIVE. If they tried to misrepresent the evening, I would make it very clear to all who would listen.

Others have chosen to ignore the polite and not exactly nefarious request. I could have done so without any kind of consequence (I achieve nothing and gain nothing), but I like to remain respectful where respect is given, regardless of if that means I miss an opportunity.

No particular problem with the posting of other people's tweets, they are public domain having chosen to disrespect the same request.

You was hardly asking for the world Foxy, keep yer pecker up.

A few more highs and lows. The jokes were very funny but perhaps you had to be there:

"The fans at Al Hilal often say that I am number one. Although not always with the same finger."

A Senior Blade asked the Prince a question that frankly even I struggled to understand properly, and he just deadpanned "I think I'll let Chris answer that one".

The 26 year old Chairman introduced himself by saying "Just to be clear, I'm not your new centre forward".

Getting into a fight at the game, as has been mentioned above.

Possibly the funniest bit of the night was the brilliant question from someone about whether his mate could have McCabe's season ticket.

--

The doom mongers can panic over the following bits:

The Prince dodged the question about raising season tickets prices, although he did say something about the fans being the "heart of the club".

He was a little equivocal about his wealth but it's clear we're not going down the high-spending route just because he's related to billionnaires. Which I'm entirely OK with.

That said, who knows if the focus on sponsorship means we'll end up with some dodgy Ethiad-type deals.

Said the academy needs to be improved, but seemed to suggest that moving to category 1 wouldn't be a good idea because of the pull from places like Manchester.

He was very clear that the club should always be called Bramall Lane. He did wonder whether, if we got significant money for it, the name might be "Bramall Lane in association with....". I thought his answer was perfectly reasonable & he was clear he'd need to discuss with the fans, but some people walking out seemed to be trying to make an issue of it.

Looks like an attempt to ask that the perceived wishes of your host were respected to me... Rather than 'bleating'.
It’s allover twitter via both the official account and numerous other accounts... don’t any sort of problem with people putting those tweets on this thread?

See my previous post.
Just read that and appreciate where you’re coming from but my point still stands, silverfox seemed to be suggesting that copying and posting tweets in here would be getting you in trouble or disobeying your wishes? You literally said in the OP to post the tweets in here - so people did (if that was in jest I apologise!)

I said to post mine in as I wouldn't have chance.

Then posted one saying the club had requested not to, which they clearly did.

I've no problem with people linking the other publicly available stuff, but I didn't say that and has clearly been interpreted that I may have requested it not :)

It's therefore not being daft or 'bleating', but an attempt at respecting my perceived wishes with the best intent.

I like the Prince.

I wish he was more vocal from the moment he came into the club, but I like it.

I'd like some tangible reasoning where the money is coming from since by his own admission he was potless and had to borrow £3m from the Bin Ladens to uphold his part of the bargain. He's going to have to find a heck of lot more now.

Need more info about the fight.....
Thought his remarks were quite fitting given the announcement on radio sheff this morning about us being in the top 4 clubs in the country last season for arrests and banning orders.

Tonight he looked like a reyt brawler, he's got a killer stare.

PA: Actions speak louder than words. Look at the transfer window, it ran smoothly. We had a problem with my ex partner in signing Mousset but we persuaded him, he didn't want to sign McBurnie after his medical so I had to guarantee it with my own funds.

Same old McCabe won't spend a penny if a ha'penny will do. Just think if he had won the court case he'd trouser an extra £25m+ through not buying those two. The team would be considerably weaker and he would be still getting top $$$ from a load of Yanks. Still don't surprise me at all ................ there's no bigger blade my arse.
My view is he was always content owning a club in the championship and had taken us as far as he could, can't wait to see the back of him tbh. At least it sounds like the Prince has got a bit of ambition and will do all he can to move the club forwards.

It is BT Sport that is publishing these tweets by the way.
I was not working for BT Sport this evening, nor any of the other companies and organisations I work for. Was all off my own back for my own account.

I felt Prince Abdullah finally had an opportunity to introduce himself to the fans unfiltered ... no body else's spin, just the man himself. Most people, hearing and watching him, will over time come to like and to trust him the way I do, is my best guess; but as he says himself, he doesn't expect everyone to like him (or really even care if they do). He is a 'what you see is what you get' kind of person -- nothing fancy, no airs, logical, thick skinned, good humoured, generous, ambitious. There are not two Prince Abdullahs -- one for the limelight and the real, unseen one, who make decisions 180 degrees opposed to what was said while the cameras were rolling. Nope. There's only #OnePrinceAbdullah! ... which for me is a big part of the appeal.

Went down at the last minute having visited my daughter nearby. Not much to add to what others have posted about the content. The tweets are informative but don't cover the questions asked. The fact the Prince was there and fronted questions answering what he could mixed in with some humour seemed to go down well.

Only two uncomfortable moments. Firstly when someone said it was a disgrace Kevin McCabe hadn't been thanked by the Club following the Judgement. Now he was probably entitled to respond " have you seen what he's said about me" but he didn't he answered with a measure of dignity and said KM would be welcome at the Club and they had recently dined together. Secondly someone was droning on about it being a disgrace the Prince took money from Bin Laden and he didn't believe the Prince had any money and there were question marks about his dealings. Prince provided a terse response " read the Judgement" which he did on a few other occasions.

From a legal perspective his solicitor confirmed they expected the SUL shares to be received in the next 4 weeks. That would fit with getting the grounds to Appeal Hearing out of the way but I'm guessing assumes the application fails.

The property valuations will ultimately be resolved in Court if they fail to agree price. That looks inevitable at the moment.

He answered my question about Investors saying there were none in the background and he wasn't looking to form partnerships again the only 50/50 being the one with his wife. :) He didn't know Yusef G had said at Court they had investors in the background but I'll give him a pass on that one. He later added the way to bring money into the Club is through Sponsors and there were many in his homeland who were interested.

CW looked comfortable throughout and in answer to a good question about what was his reaction to KM saying he had a lot of thinking to do he said " I work for the Club."

A few myths dispelled tonight. CW was clear about JVW role at the Club, it isn't an issue for him. The Prince does not have a problem with women. I was served by a young lady behind the bar although she should have been wearing a mask and asking me to stand and deliver for the exorbitant £4.60 I got charged for a pint. His daughter will also be on the Board and be responsible for the womens football team. You get the impression the upgrading of facilities at Shirecliffe may one of the first actions as his daughter wasn't impressed when she trained with SUFC women.

I've been to a number of these now and that was one of the better ones. The standard of questions have improved and were probing particularly around investment and wealth. You're not going to get all the answers you want. Time for action now not words and PA said as much.

Oh okay, just seen your latest set of tweets as well. 👍

He was also asked about the shareholders. His solicitor at the back of the room took that one saying it's nothing to do with the prince, it's a matter for KM and the McCabe family.

That explains the long delay with the mcburnie announcement when every twat on here was blaming the media team

We didn't actually loan any money from them did we? I thought it was just a discussion.

Anyway, as posted they're a respected family in the business world and no more dodgy than any super rich family.

We did – a loan, that was supposed to be a down payment for acquiring McCabe’s shareholding and aided PA at a time he was struggling to make a payment, but they pulled out after doing due diligence on the club. The loan was repaid interest free.
