I don't want to pay mine as I wasn't obliged too for a couple of years but now I must and there is no way out of paying.
Twenty years ago I got shut of the t/v and after a visit by an official was allowed not to pay.
Now because I have a computer, to help run household finances and purchases plus S2 4SU, and BBC put material on the tinternet, I must pay the licence fee. PIRACY no other word for it.
Having said what I have, would be churlish not to offer an alternative.
I am a big believer in having a National Radio Station, therefore the BBC should pick one station, either Radio or t/v to be the mouthpiece for the government in times of national crisis. BBC News Channel would be ideal.
All the other BBC stations should go commercial and be self financing whilst also financing the one channel that is The National Station.
Commenting on the OP.
Hitler was burning books eighty odd years ago, the, to me, faceless people who perpetuate this are just as bad.
So long as there is no bad language and acute personal abuse, I believe, you can say what you want to anybody.
If you don't like it, reply in like or decease in the conversation, simple really but good to have skin like a Rhino.
Rant over now for WBA.
