As ever, on-topic discussion of the Everton match at Goodison Park on Saturday 22nd October :)

Who would be in your team? Score predictions?

Match chat for those not traveling to the game, post match reaction and man of the match poll.

Same team for me.....with the threat of Kabbs and Webber from the bench.

Same team for me, this game will be much more difficult especially with Andrew Johnson being on white hot form and Tim Cahill is always a big danger, so I'm going for a 1-1 draw with Kazim Richards scoring for us and either AJ or Cahill scoring for them.

keep the same team we have looked better and more confident on the ball the last two games im not predicting we seem to do better when i dont :) cmon blades

Next weeks team is already picked, NW says no change. But if we continue to play a version of the 4-5-1, we have to bring Webber in second half for Keith (we love ya still) and Ifill for K-Richards when he tires. We need some punch. Nade is a talent but I would prefer having a real midfield player available. Three stiker subs likely means at least one spectator and no back-up if Tonge's knee goes.

not knocking anyone but maybe put quinn in left wing position in place of ckr and webbs in behind hulse just think it might work better ohn an attacking front but i see us defending alot at everton

nah keep the same team. arsenal, mboro and man city have all been nearly the same team and they have played really well
ok i do agree though that some one needs to gt up and help hulse maybe webber and drop one of midfielders' but i wouldn't cos there playing good as a team and are urging each uva on

what ever the team all be shouting for them

Everton v Sheffield United
Barclays Premiership
Saturday 21st October 2006, Kick Off 3.00pm

The Blades look set to sell out of their 3,000 allocation as less than 150 tickets remain for Saturday's Premiership clash at Goodison Park.

The majority of seats remaining are restricted view and single seats. Everton have already reduced the restricted viewing tickets by £1 however SUFC have decided to fund a further £4 discount on the remaining restricted tickets.

Any supporters who have already purchased restricted view tickets are assured that they are far superior to the remaining tickets and unfortunately are unable to be discounted further.

Tickets for Saturday's game will be on sale from the Blades Ticket Office until 4pm on Friday 20th October, subject to availability.

Any supporters booking tickets over the telephone on 0870 787 1799 who are unable to collect from Bramall Lane will be able to pick tickets up from Everton on the day.

This match is ALL TICKET therefore tickets will NOT be on sale at the ground on the day.

____

another sell out another top showing from the fans

but if my view is resticted and ive not got a discount im not gonna be best pleased after paying 31 quid to go to a knackered old ground

Getting train to Everton from Swinton at half 9:)

just got back WOW what an atmosphere from us blades second half 15 mins of none stop when the blades go marching in

I just got back in too.

Great atmosphere today blades!

OH WHEN THE BLADES, GO MARCHING IN!

Just been stuck up for on MOTD by Shearer. Get him a signed Blades shirt:)

Confirmed push on Claude for the first goal.

Penalty and sending off.....if that's the case we won't have any players on at the end of any match.

Total disgrace!

Don't the powers that be watch this stuff?

Everton MOTM Poll

As ever, vote for your man of the match.

Claude Davis won last week's poll, somehow can't see him winning this week's :)

i can see why the ref gave a pen a though tbh and there was a push i coul see it at the time like 150 yardsaway so whycouldnt the ref

Leigertwood was my MOTM, he just would not give in, he wanted to keep going and is continually getting better all the time.

From my Everton contact..............

The lad who got sent off Davis, was the best player on the park at the time. I never thought it was a sending off, but it was certainly a penalty. I also felt we were never under any threat and were good value for a win.

Not the best of games, Everton settled for 2 at halftime and didn't push on. I sit about 30 seats away from the away fans in the upper part of the ground and I must admit they were the noisiest yet this season. If points were given out for support they'd be top of the league.

All in all, not a game to remember, but 3 points on the board.

i think we could of taken the points if we were more clinical the leggy shot in the second half the kazza header hulse shot and the morgs header,i think we need to sort out this part of our game cos it will cost us a big amount of points this season

was torn between jags and morgan when he came on.

Everton fans on us Blades:

I know I said finally but I just thought I would mention the Sheff utd supporters. They were fantastic and sang right upto the end.

Ronnie Goodlass on Merseyside Radio said the same thing, they are, like the Sunderland lads, proper supporters

And they all swear blind it was a penalty and that it wasn't a dive.

Another one............

In fairness to Everton we knew SU would be physical and would push the ref to the limit. As for the penalty if it was a penalty it was also a sending off, they seem to go hand in hand these days.

I've reopened the poll seeing as we haven't got a clear winner for the MOTM yet.

If you haven't voted, add your two penne'th in the poll :)

I've voted for Morgan who came on in a difficult match against one of the fastest cheats in the game and upset the little sod!
