Except he's absolute class. Either of you seen him play?

Erm, yes I have seen him play. He's looked ok but nothing I've seen would indicate to me 'class' is an adjective I'd use. Somewhere between solid and half-decent would be more accurate - and that's for Wales and in the Bundesliga - not the PL.

We've seen this Summer how Chelsea view this crop of their youngsters by their replacing Abraham and Hudson Odoi with £Multi-million replacements...

Like I say, nothing against the lad, and Tufty could sign Ian Huntley and I'd give him a chance, but I think is going to be more James Wilson, Ebanks Landell than Dean Henderson...

But that's like Chesterfield disliking us. It's entirely one way and is met by complete indifference from our side.
That may be the case but no one commented on whether Chelsea fans dislike Fulham. The big difference is, of course, it’s a 15 minute walk between the two grounds and they play in the same division. But apart from that, just like Chesterfield.

I think the biggest failure of this transfer window is how long we’ve had to wait for our first blurry, miles-away photo of a new signing to appear.

Last summer we had blurry-miles away snaps of Ravel & Jags in the blink of an eye.

We, as a fan base, have slacked off big-time.
Isn't that Callum Robinson anyway? :D

Wrong, these type of deals mean we can improve on the positions we need to, I.e keeper and upfront. I’m more than happy to get a loan player in if it gets us through this season and when we are a bit richer next summer after a second season in we start bulking the first team out. For now it’s a sensible move

Absolutely agree there. Despite our finish, there really are a group of high-end established teams in the EPL. Our remit is not get relegated, and if that means we have to take a loan from a "top six club", then so be it. We play him, we coach him, he keeps us up (along with our regular squad obviously) then we get our own youngsters and signings as we establish ourselves.
If we stay up and coach this kid good, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City will give us their other players over the seasons, as we get a reputation for being a good, solid team with a Manager that coaches. Eventually, hopefully, we will establish ourselves to a point where they don't want us to take their players on, because we are a threat to them.

The most interesting part of Nixons article is about Bogle and Lowe. He's suggesting that we've got them both for £6 million plus £3 million in add ons. Now if thats any where near the truth they will be wailing on Derby fans sites as they believe the fee is £15m as per Sky.

I know i'm living in dream land but I'd love to see this as a loan to buy, looking at Chelsea's current crop of CBs could it be possible?
-Thiago Silva
-Rudiger
-Zouma
-Christensen
-Sarr
-Mbuyamba
-Probably another 18 players being farmed out on loan

We won’t know till the details are announced but I’d say it’s beyond unlikely. But there’s always a surprise when Chris is around

Why is there a big hype around this kid? Wiki has him down at roughly 20 appearances so far and majority of them are for Wales.
Does wiki tell you his stats per game, the way he plays, the future that’s expected for him? No it doesn’t.

Except he's class. Not sure what else to say mate.

Really like him.

He's a clever player, makes important interceptions and positions himself well. He's also fantastic on the ball, with a great range of passing. He possibly still lacks a little physically, and he's still learning - hence why he's probabaly not ready for Chelsea's 11 just yet.

I'd expect he'd be joining with the expectation that he's going to start on the bench, but with his versatility, he can probabaly be deputising for Basham, Egan & Norwood all at once.

I think this could be a great loan signing.
