Thoughts on the kit?

Absolutely! We've got a pauper among princes in charge and he'll be looking to balance the books in any way possible.

First image that comes to mind with Errea randomly is Fabrizio Ravanelli in his Middlesbrough/Derby kits.

Fairly prevalent elsewhere in the league I suppose and is better than us producing kits in house, we've seen various issues with that somewhere else......
That pauper of a prince has just ,converted 15 m quid of loans into shares ,with little thanks

Kit changes are for colour clashes. Hobby horse of mine, but all 3 kits have black shorts. Yellow shorts with black trim, white shorts with red trim and whilst you're at it swap the home and 3rd kit socks
Both teams can wear the same colour shorts, only shirts & socks have to be different

If you've got young kids then you don't have a choice but to buy the kits, I've rather them have a decent one than a shit one. I can imagine Errea kits only being washable using a mangle and freshwater or something daft.

The adidas tracksuits for the last few years have been decent quality and look good, I can't see Errea ones being the same. It's brand snobbery but with reason when you're shelling out around £400-£500 a year for kits and training gear for growing kids.
Let's face it they're probably all made in neighbouring sweatshops in China or Thailand. Only difference will be the Primary school kids ironing the logo on will be dipping into a different box!

Or am I being cynical?

Probably correct. Although I’m sure the CSR policies of the western suppliers will say that they’re made by hand by vestal virgins who are fed wagyu steak and drink water from the fountain of eternal beauty!

One doesn’t leave you stepping out looking like Sports Direct reject bin - the other does.

All our training wear (minus blades badge) is available at sports direct. Errea isn't....

Had it confirmed today that we are indeed having our kits made by Errea from next season.

Hmm, I thought it was pretty much the other way around, in that you could have West Brom play Reading and both are wearing their home shirts, but as one had blue shorts and one white it was fine

I have never been a fan of Adidas for us, they produce some amazing solid colour kits but I've not liked their striped versions for many a year for solid backs and sleeves etc. They'll always be fans who like Adidas for their quality which cannot be denied, especially if you're referring to the training gear. But as a fan the main thing I'm interested in is the shirts and for me the home shirts bar one have all been poor in terms of design, last seasons and the season we got promoted are two of the worst we've ever had in my view, then there was the 125 year anniversary one which was a poor attempt at the original one.

Going to an alternative supplier like Errea will always bring up the debate about poorer quality v more control for individual designs. I'm in favour of individual design over top quality templates but others may disagree. Another thing I didn't like from Adidas was the pricing of the shirts which were never less than half price even after the season ended. Maybe there were the odd huge XXL shirts left over for a tenner but under previous alternative suppliers such as Le Coq there was always a £10 shirt available a the end of the season in all sizes which is when I'd buy one - I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices for a £5 shirt. I hope we can have something similar to what Millwall got a few years ago from Errea. Not in blue and white obviously!

My adidas stuff from united is poor quality. 2 coats with seams coming off pockets after hardly any use and a top made from recycled polyester which got pulls and clicks all over after just 1 wear. Adidas is shit and iam glad its going

Perhaps the cheap(er) end of season stuff was getting rid of things they couldn’t flog at ‘full’ price ?
By that train of thought perhaps they managed to shift (most) everything @ ‘full’ (extortionate) price ?
