Waste if time talking to you

A seat next to me could be empty, but I can't buy it for somebody else

Two different people can't buy it and sit together

And 3000 is an average figure of empty SHEFFIELD UNITED FANS SEATS

It might be 3,105 for some games or 2,967 for others, you fucking regulator
No fucker wants the seat next to you, love. ;)

One for the road then get to bed you cabbage.

It is a problem bit of a problem getting tickets for individual games - particularly when the club puts minimum points requirements on ticket purchases. When that happens there is no way of getting in the ground unless you have a Blades mate with a spare customer number with the requisite points. This was the case numerous times in the first Champ season, promotion season and first prem season. I have a couple of burner accounts for this purpose now, and keep a Kop junior season ticket ticking over that rarely gets used in case one of my young relatives goes. I helped a few people on here access tickets in the past, including a Chinese kid that was turned away when trying to buy over £300 worth of tickets for him, his mates and visiting family members. That seemed ridiculous to me.

I can't be the only one that has helped some older people out with navigating the online system. That can't help but make me think there are people in the same boat with noone to help them that fave up...

Curiously, I haven't noticed the same restrictions (points requirements) this season despite large crowds and now the kop issue. Maybe it's a thing of the past?

It's not 3 k as I've shown above and yes you can actually buy somebody a seat if you take the time and effort .or they took the time and effort .

I hope the club staff reading this (hello!) are making a useful list of "things that are too complicated for Sheffield United fans to understand" that include:

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Combinations of letters and numbers
  • Inputting your own name and address onto a webform
  • Inputting your friend's name and address onto a webform
  • Understanding how many people one seat can accommodate
  • Understanding why the Sheffield Safety Advisory Group hasn't closed down Elland Road or Anfield

🤣

BUT mah freedoms …

Why isn't it 3k ?

Our average attendance is 28600 the stadium holds 32500

2900 on the away end
29600 home seats

If the average "away attendance" was 1500 there would be 31,400 at every game if every United seat was sold

The fact that our average attendance "Including away fans" is 28600 it means there are almost 4500 empty seats

Approximately 1500 on the away end, and 3000 in home sections

And I'm being quite generous as far as the away section is concerned, most away fans do not have as many as 1500 empty seats on BLLT

I believe the capacity is no longer 32,500, we lost some seats when we went up the the Premier League.
Our capacity is now almost exactly 32,000.

In the Premier League the other year our biggest crowd was 32,024 against Man Utd and that game was a total sell out.

33100?

Okay.

33100?

Okay.
His maths are flawed badly ,our stated capacity is 32500 but with sag restrictions and that's before the kop debacle it's under 32000 take off the 2750 tickets away teams get and it's down to just over 29000 , we average about 27250 home fans.So it's less than 1.8 k at the most games . some more .

We probably have 2/300 seats netted off too (front rows of the BLUT and the front rows of BLLT). They do at least seem to have stopped doing this on the H block and JSS, which is good.

There's also at least another 3/400 restricted view seats on the John Street Corner and Kop.

Also sales of two front rows in John Street are not generally on sale except for our disabled supporters ,

The official capacity at Bramall Lane this season is 31,884.

The reduced Capacity is due to a reduction in the number of away fans. It was 2990 in the Premier League but reduced to 2750 for the norty boys in the EFL.

So to do the Maths.

Capacity 31,884
Seats Available for away fans 2750

Seats Available for Home fans 29134

Average attendance this season 28628
Less average away fans (this is slightly more due to not counting Rovrum) 1697
Average number of home fans in ground 26931

Average number of free seats per game for home fans 2203.

Bartman said that people who are registered can buy two tickets

They can't

I think what Bartman means is that as long as the other person is registered on the system, you can buy your own ticket and one on their behalf. That is exactly right.

Even though i'm a ST holder and already have my ticket, i can buy friends and family tickets online. You just have to allocate it to the correct relevant person:

If you select a person that is already attending the match, it tells you and won't let you proceed with the purchase:

Same token, if you try to buy a junior ticket for someone who isn't a junior, it won't let you proceed.

It's been 1 ticket per person for years now.

Pick all the seats you want to purchase next to each other, then allocate each seat to the person going. Then they sit together. It's not difficult:

you say its not difficult but we are in this state because simple people cant understand basic instructions and rules

You can. As i explained a couple of posts above.

Another example of this is that my lad can't go on Boxing Day - we sit on the South Stand.
A relative is over from Spain with his Mrs and wants to go.

I rang the ticket office. I asked to upgrade my lads ticket to an adult and purchase a 2nd adult ticket. Then I said "can I get them sat together please?" The lady on the line said - "of course, but we only have seats together on the Bramall Lane Upper, will that be OK?"

"Yes" i replied. I then gave the customer numbers of the 2 people that will be going.

You can then print the tickets at home

Ring the ticket office? What madness is this? If they aren’t delivered by liveried flunky without me having to even ask, l don’t want one. Or two obviously.

Nor do any of my made up friends who haven’t been for years but are desperate all of a sudden.

What i don't understand is that these friends of JJ Blade suddenly want to go to a match with him/her but will only go with him/her. Assuming the friends of over adult age and are interested in watching The Blades. why haven't they gone previously ?. You have to register as a customer for many aspects of our lives now so registering as a customer to go to a game of football for someone who wants to go to a game shouldn't be an issue.

My son has now done the '92' and he is a registered fan with the majority of those clubs

I went to Juventus in March. I had to register on their website to buy tickets.
I nearly cancelled my Ryanair flights as a result of this nonsense

Who says they are all fans?

Once again, not listening and making it fit your own shit stirring agenda

If mattbianco says you can add friends and family, fair enough, but it hasn't always been that way

And when you've added 50 or 60 foreigners, because my parents are of foreign origin, and we often get cousins, aunts, uncles and God knows who visiting, is there a point when the club will say "Eyup, wtf is going on here?"

Now you are whinging about something that hasn't even happened. A solution has been quite clearly laid out. Get on with it or bore off ;)

1. It would appear that you have a 'shit stirring agenda'

2. The family and friends option has been around for at least 10 years i think

It would be easier to admit that you are clearly wrong on this one and stop being angry at people that don't agree with your narrative

Just register some friends and family, make sure you've got as many accounts connected to your own as you'd ever need tickets, then use those accounts to get extended family and friends tickets if you need to, you can get around the name being wrong on the ticket. It's not that difficult unless you want it to be.
