Not quite sure how it works anymore, but if he returns a couple of negative tests is he alright to play? Surely everyone who's come into contact with someone who tested postive hasn't isolated otherwise Liverpool would have had to forfeit the other week when Mane and Thiago had it?

Yeah if Egan is deemed to be in close contact he is out for 2 weeks if the rules the rest of the country are following but I did think that footballers were under different rules? Maybe if he has a negative test on the eve of the game he can play? No idea anymore.

Could mean Didzy, Burke and Egan out next week. Just Stevens, Fleck, McBurnie, Ampadu, Berge and Ramsdale to get injured now!

It’s obscene there are still international matches.

Self contained leagues are hard enough to police without the added challenge of cross border polination.

It does seem luck is conspiring against us at the moment. 2 red card errors both against and Berge’s foul and Lundstram’s non penalty decision vs Arsenal in 4 gamed is tripe. Now added injuries and disruptions.

One week of the window and Chris needs a lucky horse shoe and a 4 leaf clover.
