Duffy at Watford gap

Saw Matt done and Duffy limping back from a piss at Watford gap asked Duffy what was up he said it was his knee but says he'll be ok for Sunday, they got into a car with 2 players still sat in the car waiting although I couldn't make out who they were. Any ideas or reasons why they'd not be on the team bus?

I think Samir had sprayed all the seats in celebration and they didn't fancy sitting on a wee soaked coach all the way home.

Duffy and JOC commute most days to Sheffield from Liverpool and pick Done up on route as he lives somewhere near Manchester. Probably driving straight home I guess. It's quite common for players to travel back separately if they live in different parts of the country

I think it's been mentioned before that there is a 'car club' type thing where 4 or 5 of the team drive in from Liverpool/Manchester way together. Putting that with the fact that Duffy is from Liverpool and done from manc they may be going straight home as oppose to Sheffield first?

Well, Duffy has been sold to pay for the Desso. That clears one question up. As for MD, I'm guessing either he and Duff have something good going on, or he's also been sold to pay for, er, maybe the cans Wilder bought on the way back from Milwall ?

Duffy and J'OC got dropped off at Leicester Forest services by the coach after the Tuesday night Oxford game too. I think they leave a car there and get picked up/dropped off by the coach to head over to the North West as a few have said.

They don't want to keep moving house I suppose. The older ones probably have families they don't want to unsettle. It's a pain in the arse but I used to work with people who commuted from all over the place, doing some pretty long journeys, and they had to do a full day's work. I can see why players prefer it to moving around every other season.
